Brilliant lesson for everyone they make playing so much easier For everyone's information the adjustable blow pipe was invented in the seventies by Colin Winstandly he was a great piper and a master plumber he invented them for a juvenile band unfortunately colin died and never patent his idea Most people in England call the blow pipes The winstandly blow pipe Colin also made and repaired pipes was known by all big manufacturers for his Brilliant idea's and also for repairing pipes by altering the sound by adding adjustments He would by his timber and let it season in his garage for year's before using it Colin also made long chanters in the eighties This information is by Terry Carr

I made an ebonite mouthpiece for my son's pipes, The thread was 37/64 x 30 TPI. He needed a shorter blowpipe to be comfortable. After seeing this I realize their are many options for adjustment.

Love the advances in piping products. Gone are the days when you had to make your own blowpipe valve out of an old piece of leather and chew it to make it flexible enough and airtight.😄

hi, do you have a video on correct BP position/handling. Especially with the way to hold the mouthpiece (teeth vs just lips...) ?thks for the good technico-commercial material presented!
