Amazing!!! Your journey hasn’t been easy, I’m sure! You’ve overcome so much!! My 19 year old daughter is just starting to have success too! She’s been 95% non verbal with adults from 13-18. She also went to communicamp during one of the first times they ran it for teens. Your story brings hope, and happiness to do many so thank you for sharing it!! Good luck in college, it’s going to be so much fun! 🎉

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I apologize, I never put those resources on the Google Doc I linked to the description. Unfortunately, I don't currently have these handouts with me, as I'm at college, but once I am back home I will make sure to upload those to the document!

My son has SM he is 14 headed into high school. Interesting that your vacation provided a way for you to be verbal, we noticed a big change in him when we took him on a vacation as well. What do you think it is that makes it easier to be verbal away from your hometown?
