It really was so funny to see how things played out but it also truly highlights how important it is to do research BEFORE jumping in on a trend. They already tried giving Tony a twitter with similar results, literally talking to even a single v-tuber fan in a focus group for more than 5 minutes would've given them all the warning they needed as to what lay ahead. And to be fair I think they could have managed the excessive horniness from the Internet to some extent if they did what literally every other major vtuber/streamer does; have a proper tag list and set some boundaries ahead of time. It wouldn't stop everyone but it would have at least made it more manageable. Instead they blindly jumped on the bandwagon, threw some poor VA in front of a webcam with a model of their mascot and then got completely blindsided AGAIN by how down bad everyone was.
