It's now 19 years later (2014) and I'm still furious like the day she died! I mean I'm so upset it's not even funny. Now...... I didn't even know Selena existed and only heard of her from the news and I blew it off until I seen the movie and heard her English songs and I remember weeping my eyes out when I got home because in spite of the fact that I didn't know her before her death I feel like I was on the verge of knowing her because of her talent! Imagine how bright her star power would be right now! Can't you feel it?!..... I really feel like I missed my chance to know and see a great person. The family is so close and I weep for the babies she never had but was planning. I'm so sorry her husband was cheated out of his chance to have his babies with her. I'm so angry about that because people who are nice and so giving and who worked as hard as they did to get where they were should have all their dreams come true! That Yolanda didn't just kill a person. She stopped a legacy of dreams, Super stardom, untold fame and fortune and descendent's in it's tracks. I'm still dreaming of you Selena..... 19 years later and I'm still dreaming. God bless you and your beautiful family....

I know that this women had so much love in her heart and was destined to be one of biggest stars in the music industry. I have never felt so mad about a tragedy like Selena’s because of the way that witch that took her life and then made it seem like Selena was her “daughter” and then claims Selena called her “mom.” And also claimed Selena was begging on her knees for yolanda not to quit. yeah right. Selena had no reason to beg on her knees for you. No one will ever believe your story yolanda, and you are disgusted by everyone on this planet. As a professional musician all my life in the States I can tell you that Selena sold 11 million copies of her record because she was talented, she was a superstar the same as the superstars here. And just like Ricky said, she was never a Mexican Madonna, she never went that low. That was an insult to say that about Selena, a very bad insult. Selena had morals very high morals. Madonna didn't care what she did what part of her body was shown to the world or how nasty or how she portrayed other women women, and how gruesome she was in front of people. She would do anything for a buck. Then she had a baby and realized what she had done. I don't think Madonna will ever let her children see her videos. And to think I sang her song called, Like a Virgin, because it was number one hit. I would have never sang her songs had I known who she was. If you want to see nasty, she is on here.

I think this video and all of the other videos about Selena tells about what such a great person she was and that her legacy lives and will live on forever. God bless all of the family members of the quintanilla family for saying the things that you have said about Selena. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. I love you Selena and you will always be in my heart and of course in all of your fans hearts. RIP

Selena had a fantastic voice. She accomplished a lot without today's modern technology. The lyrics are clean and the songs are beautiful. No other artist has been able to beat her. This woman did not have to get on stage in her underwear to sell millions of records: unlike jlo, Becky g, shakira.

I love that Abraham said Tejano culture is different than Mexican culture. It's true. But Selena broke the barriers. ♥️

Unfortunately I didn't hear about Selena until her death I heard of her passing over the radio but year's later one day I watched her last concert and didn't know what she was saying and to my surprise I watched the whole concert and just hummed the word's if you could get a person that does not know a bit of Spanish you are a very talented person now I love her if she would have crossed over she would have been know world wide for her Dad to say that he forgive that Bitch is beyond me what she did to her was evil and I will never understand what made her gun her down like she was an animal Selena you are truly missed in the Black community we were cheated out of your English album because of that evil ass woman you will never be forgotten! Rip Selena Q. Perez 💕

I didn't know about her until she passed. The thing is I remember that day someone told me Celion died so they were confusing her name to Celion Dion.
