After watching dozens of UK _Dragons' Den_ episodes and not a few Australian _Shark Tank_ programmes too, I must say that this young lady is the single most up-together, promising, organised, hard-working, sensible, pleasant and generally superior potential entrepreneur I've yet seen. I'm not an especially healthy eater out of a sense of principle, but I do love a nice tasty veggie burger and other nut/seed/beans/soya-based foods in general, and just looking at the packaging of Dee's products (very well-designed: neither too 'cute' nor too 'coldly scientific', and - refreshingly - not 'Veganism-insistent' either), I would definitely buy them and I bet they taste great, based on what's gone into them. The Dragons on this programme, too, are the typical polite, educated and classy (yet beneath-the-surface humourous and genuinely nice) kind of people I've often met during many visits to South-West Eire... and they're obviously also no fools, since they can clearly see the value in this investment and its creator. What a refreshing change from the average _Dragons' Den_ fare... I really hope it all worked out well for all concerned! :)

Vegan doesn't usually tend to be any healthier. Blocks of processed patties of 'stuff' passing as food, is generally what most vegan food consists of. Beer is vegan but you don't see beer sellers saying, 'let's sell vegan beer'. it's just 'beer'.

I love her. Sounds like an amazing product and I identify with her a lot. Im not a vegan either but I like to reduce my animal product consumption and eat healthy whole foods as much as possible. It might mess up her whole organic thing, but it would be great if she fortified the patties with B-12. Even when I was eating meat all the time, I had a deficiency, and it's even more important for people who abstain from meat and animal products
