Natalie has turned her passion for sustainable homes into a wonderful schooling opportunity for women all around the world to come & learn carpentry skills. After years of attending building courses, Natalie realized that there wasn't enough resources for women to have a safe environment to learn building schools & decided she would create that safe space herself. Loved your video !!! You didn't mention gardening ( i realize this was not a gardening video)...try looking into hydroponic gardening (greenhouse) year-round food supply...i designed and built a greenhouse back in early '70s. Which supplied ample food for this ol vegetarian ...just a thought ♥️

Nice to see something different, makes for a nice change from all the van conversions. Some great ideas there, except maybe for allowing kids to jump from a platform onto a bed. For all that the owner was so into sustainable options, I had to wonder if she was actually growing her own food, nothing much on the outside.

LOVE your cabin and the soapstone sink with counters along with the butcher block- LOVE it all! We too have a small cabin Up North in upper Michigan, and I too plan on building an apothecary shelving system underneath our stairway- everything about your cabin and space speaks to me as our Woodsmoke Homestead cabin - best of everything 🪴 I’ve also learned carpentry from my dear husband who owns his own construction/garage door company

Very interesting video to go thru showing your home which is very whimsical and built with love and a lot of helping hands. I am very interested in tiny homes in particular Incredible Tiny Homes Randy Jones . This builder is located in Newport, TN. He has homes from $25,000 up to 110,000. He has partnered up with a group in Texas that is running workshops regarding how to build a tiny house. Some of the people who work with Randy volunteer to go down to TX event. Like teaching women skills to build a home. They have partnership with Amish in Kentucky. Aside from building Tiny houses he is building 200 + homes sites for homes they build to put tiny homes on. They have of 4-5 different communities with in the 150 app. Acres to his homes on. Probably the one think that stands out when they go out to do tours it is the sense of community. Helping one another. They are going to put in community gardens. I like from tiny house building to foraging for natural healing plants that First Nation tribes developed. So just might want to attend your workshops. I will look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Your comment may have some relevance for a period of about 100-200 years ago. But then again, I see no woman physically capable of using the tools that were used in that day. I'd like to see you or any set of females you know operate a 2 man saw ripping a 20ft+ tree trunk. Day in, day out, six days a week for a year. I think you'll find your comment wanting. And yes, I love women. Just not mindless ones.

Well being the fact that I grew up grooming to look nice and smell nice! It was a turn off for me! I could care less what someone else does! Under arm hair and hair in other odor producing areas carries funk! It’s not pleasant for a woman to smell at all! I have been around women who don’t shave their armpits and they are funkier than a goat! A man you would be more understanding, especially if they work outside! But a woman indoors and in close proximity is absolutely horrible!!! That’s just me!! To each it’s own! I found it a little unsanitary!
