Sydney had me in tears and she is so right! Live your life now because nobody is promised tomorrow. I’m 61 fighting my second round of cancer and this time it’s stage 4, we still have a sticks and bricks home but my favorite place to be is in our 19 ft Geo Pro trailer anywhere out in nature. Loved this video more than I can express❤️

Sydney's insightful words brought tears to my eyes! I spent my life working on reaching my goals and I'm happy to report that I achieved them! However it was all work and I made NO time to travel. I thought I would do that when I retired. Only now, I am not physically able to even walk the park at a local zoo. People, DO NOT WAIT TO TRAVEL UNTIL YOU RETIRE! DON'T DO IT! Thank you Sydney for the Truth Bomb you delivered to us. Take care and I will be following you guys on your journeys! Much love to you both! ❤❤

The world seems like such a different place than it was when I was starting out in my adult life. I think that boomers’ kids have watched us working our butts off & seeming to live to work & have realized that life if too short to live that way. I think that many of us are realizing that we can live with far less stuff and use our resources to enjoy life. Good for this couple. Though I love our 6x10 CTC we designed to sleep family of 4 & a dog, I definitely would design the next CTC like yours with a back deck/ramp. Way to go! Both our Moms died from cancer - my heart goes out to you both. Though I would love to travel more - I am grateful for the local adventures we have been able to have with our kids and friends & family. Being able to detach is very useful on family vacations especially with bikes. The CTC with removeable bed at back means it can haul a lot of fun for everyone (& extra tents / camp gear too so more can join us). And becomes a 2nd garage in winter. I would add a shower too if it was a full time rig but for camping trips, the bucket (or a trelino) works just fine.

Glad I watched! I never thought of a cargo trailer but it can also be very stealthy too! To live in any tiny space mobile or a base camp situation the systems you’ve installed are well thought out and the fact that you can run all the amenities (sun allowed) is hopeful for all that want to try this! Love the personal stories that relate to the why this lifestyle. Very relatable!

Right? I hate when people talk non stop on their house tours and start telling us about their favorite little stature or decoration! Who care? And they show the person's face talking more than the tiny home. Nope, this video was perfection. All imports words about their tiny home and the whys of each item including the whys of their life style! And what a gift with the message at the end!

I was enjoying the video until I reached the part where she spoke about life towards the end (around 18:00), mentioning that life has no guarantees. I feel deeply sorry for your loss. As a medical doctor who works with elderly patients with comorbidities, I witness people passing away every day. This has led me to reflect on the kind of life I want to lead. Your words moved me to tears.
@mailinglist24513 ай бұрын
She’s right. There indeed are no guarantees in life so we ought to live life as fully as possible… but we ought to also save for our retirement because “there are no guarantees in life” - what if we live past 65, but don’t have enough to live on cuz we just didn’t work enough or save enough? There’s a happy medium. Spend mostly only on the things we need, save for retirement, but also have a “fun fund” to enjoy life on. Just my two cents.

Hi guys, thanks for sharing your video about your van/trailer. I think it was very interesting like you said you don’t know how long you going to be here at 58 years old I had a major truck accident I had fractured skull brain damage 550 mm of my back fused up with two titanium rods 15 breaks in my ribs. My left lung exploded. They did keyhole surgery I had six blood clots in it seven more operations to try to save my right leg which they removed above. My knee died three times in a coma for 29 days. Had to learn to eat drink and speak again major skin graphs. My right hand was under a truck wheel for an hour and a half and they were going to remove my fingers. Thank God they didn’t. I told them no I’ve been stuck in a wheelchair for the last six years, thank god I can drive a car ride a three wheel motorbike and have a space pod camper so I can go camping with my two dogs, but other than that I’m okay keep up the good work. Enjoy life for you again from Australia

We would have had to spend an extra $10k making an RV off grid capable with a solar system, and I personally am really not a fan at all of the way RVs are built and the drab aesthetic. Our build is made of high-quality cabinet grade plywood and cedar, with a nice tile shower that I know will last a long time. RVs are built with particle board, plastic, and vinyl and are not known for holding up over time.

You are right, live for today, we know not what tomorrow will bring. May I ask what you paid for the trailer that you live in now, what are the dimensions,and what do you use to tow it? The grace of God has allowed me to make it to age 66, I have a leg amputation and am diabetic, I’ve had dreams of living the Nomadic lifestyle for about 5 years now and have been watching YT to see how others do it. I wish I had started when I was younger, I still may take the leap. I like the idea of a raised bed. I can’t decide between building a tiny house on wheels, a box truck or a cargo trailer. I like the layout of your cargo trailer and the amount of storage that you have. I like the idea of a box truck because it doesn’t require a towing vehicle. All of the types of builds that I mentioned have their own set of problems and challenges that can be solved to some degree of satisfaction to make them liveable with consideration towards compromise.
