Wow, how did I miss that over all these years. I've been thinking about the body being a temple for the last few weeks. But I never noticed how seriously God takes this. It is going to take me a while and a lot of prayer to process this. I mean, if your body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit......what are you putting in and on that Temple. How are we treating others who are also Temples made in the image and likeness of God. Sister you have spoken to my heart today. Thank you, may God continue to bless you and use you.❤

I don't understand why self care is so controversial for Christians. Jesus literally modeled this to us. In Scripture we see Him go out by Himself for long stretches of time to pray. We see Him taking naps. We see Him resting. He kept the Sabbath holy which means He rested every Friday evening-Saturday. We see a lot of Him eating good food and teaching while lounging around the table. His first miracle is at a wedding. Weddings are typically fun events. Celebrations.
