If I recall correctly, I started viewing your videos in the early part of this year. In the span of time from then til now, your video editing, along with your refrigeration technician skills, have been on the same trajectory. That being they are rapidly on the rise! I know that was already the case before I started watching your work, but I just wanted to weigh in on what I have seen. Keep up the good work. Take care.

Thee oldest verbiage.. no bubbles no troubles; sight glasses, spray bubbles, and any other bubbles. More and more I see with newer stores are going the way of independents than doing bigger racks. Good video.. nice new goodies you got. Thanks for sharing

Classic example of how someone can be in a rush to get away after TXV adjustments. I like to watch it start back up after making temp or after a pump down. I find it can change a little again sometimes, even after letting it go for 15-20 mins. I may be wrong, but I would have played with txv before adding charge. It may have cleared out with such a small unit. Although no-one complains about reserves in the receiver anyway, helps coming out of defrost etc. Great work for cleaning coil too! There are too many lazy Techs that couldn't be bothered with that, keep the vids coming mate, I really enjoy them.

I was about to say that he might have rushed himself assuming it was low on charge but actually the overfeeding TXV making it look lit it was low. Darn low NTEs making us rush our own work.

I agree. However I never adjust a valve unless it’s got a solid cooling of liquid. But in those cases, we could have just been overfeeding

Got my TP-XL in January great bag . Only dislike is it will tip over in your van I always lay it down . like Nor-cal Dave calls the tippy xl . I only order my bags from Vetos website they register the bag for you right at the time of your purchase.

Can you do a Loadout video of the TP-XL and your new setup for the TechPac MC? I have the same two bags and am curious how you set yours up. Thanks!

I just can’t agree with how you went about this job.. you cannot add refrigerant to a system without checking basic measurement. And to be quite honest the moment I saw Ice on a med temp box at the compressor I knew it was flooding back. Technicians need to stop jumping to low gas and get out of this habit of checking a gas charge via the site glass..
@jacobharrison13384 жыл бұрын
What would you have done?
@sivalley4 жыл бұрын
@@jacobharrison1338 He was on the right track with the gauges. Low SH AND SC is classic low airflow or overfeeding. Identify a frost pattern LEAVING the evaporator with a running fain points to overfeeding from an incorrectly adjusted TXV in this case.
@grindstone53684 жыл бұрын
Thought the same thing at the beginning of the video but he did do the measurements before adding gas. I believe he even checked a pump down and got the valve adjusted....seemed pretty thorough maybe done in a different order but job well done
@TheJordanwright4 жыл бұрын
Best single test you can do (without guages) is an amp draw on the compressor. It would have shown him straight away (even without seeing the flood back) that the current draw was high.
@grindstone53684 жыл бұрын
@@TheJordanwright I'll disagree with that...Compressor current is just another piece to the puzzle no way is it a reliable single source of data to diagnose a system

In your opinion what are the best refrigerant probes on the market? Testo, appion, fieldpeice
@rookierefrigeration43574 жыл бұрын
Ryan Ellinger I really like the Fieldpiece but I have heard that the Sporlan probes are the best. I need to buy some and use them
