I once messed up my neck/shoulder real good just turning over in bed in high school. Come the morning I couldn't engage enough muscles to sit straight up, had to literally roll out of bed in order to stand up. I wish I had a picture, but there was probably about 3 inches difference between the far ends of my shoulders. Luckily my dad had done that to himself before and knew how to handle it. An emergency trip to my chiropractor for some muscle manipulation and a follow-up appointment and I was good as new.
@WhatYouMeanNo2 жыл бұрын
You were able to have it fixed after just 2 appointments?
@ariadne0w12 жыл бұрын
@@WhatYouMeanNo Yep - relatively minor issue with dramatic effects, addressed almost immediately so it didn't compound. Probably something like, 1 muscle group was in tension and she got it to unclench, rather than the "I've dislocated my shoulder 3 times and never been fully/properly treated and compensating for it also messed up 5 other things" that we see on this channel.

I have a similar type of injury, but mine is the result of falling off a horse when I was 17. My right shoulder is noticeably higher than my left. Why does the skin get red?
@ariadne0w12 жыл бұрын
he irritates it, bringing blood to the surface on purpose. Like when you get a mild scratch that doesn't break skin and it goes a bit red. The idea is that by bringing that extra blood to the area will carry away any toxins away with it when it goes away, speeding up healing.
