2:37 He's actually correct about this tip being bad for you. I tried it myself because I couldn't hit a certain note. I could hit the note but now my falsetto is broken. If u guys don't know, falsetto is the singer's ability to sing higher than their normal range. I'll edit this comment when my falsetto is fixed. Edit: It's fixed now. Took 12 hours.

Ryan, for future songs or covers, what you wanna do to reach high notes, is to use your 'fake' voice, or a.k.a falsetto. Falsetto is basically not your real voice and you can use it to reach higher notes. If you are trying your hardest to reach those high notes using your chest voice (the register that you usually talk with), that is called straining, which is bad for your vocal cords and larynx.
