I'm from Poland, gun owner since 2017. Comparing to the rest of europe, our gun laws are very lenient.

You're one of the best channels on KZbin. Always wish there was more of this content. But I understand it's very hard, expensive and time consuming to film these. Thank you!

@@johnsweeney2906 Hey, been pretty busy with family lately so unfrotunately didn't have much time to make new content, sorry about that. Will definitely try to put someting together next time I go on vacation, but as far as when that's going to happen unfortunately can't say for sure. Hopefully early 2025.

The United Kingdom has the strictest Gun Laws in Europe, most Pistols and Rifles are not allowed; unless they are a very small calibre.

I fear the Gunsmith doesn't understand or can't explain correctly the self defense laws in France. In France you have three laws who allows citizens to use force on an agressor. There's a common point on these three laws, you need to be proportionate in the degree of force you use. 1st is article 53 of the C.P.P ( Code de procédure pénale) that allows any citizen to stop an offender as long as the offence he is committing can send him to prison. 2nd is "Self defense " law, ( art 122-5 code pénal, who allows to resist an actual agression, your retaliation must be proportionnate to the attack ( You can retaliate in a letal way if the threat is letal, meaning you can shoot somebody with a knife) 122-6 code pénal When you are attacked at night at home the law state that you are presumed in self defense. This presumption of self defense is often " destroyed " by the judges who are always searching the proportionate use of force ( Excluded in fact in this particular case) Art L122-7 ( Necessity state) , that allows you to use force to protect your goods against any threat but won't work if somebody is killed. So in France you can use force to protect yourself, your kin or even your goods as long as it is proportioned to the threat you face.

Consider more care when repeating words such as "crucible" without much time between uses, because these uncommonly used words will sound less natural.
