Excellent! If I may summarize in my own words - Self-Surrender is two-fold: 1) Surrendering or renouncing the ego. How do we do that? We must surrender or renounce thoughts. All thought is spontaneous, it appears and disappears and is beyond our reach. It is neither you nor yours. To help accomplish this, we must recognize thought as an object and we as the Subject. There is an 'arm's length relationship' between the two. We experience or know or are aware of thought, but we do not generate it. Japa can be helpful in ignoring thoughts that are not needed for the task at hand. 2) Surrendering or renouncing our will or desire. How do we do that? We do not react to or judge anything that occurs in life. This means everything, from a stubbed toe to financial collapse. We must recognize every occurrence in the world as 'what is' or the 'will of Rama'. If Isvara is Perfection, who are we to complain? We must remain ever-mindful that we are but a temporary Witness to this life and not take anything personally or seriously. Everywhere we look, see Consciousness. PS - What's happened to Swami Sarvapriyananda and his Friday evening and Sunday morning videos? I hope all is well with him.

Deeply touching. Reminds me of how much lord loves us. A saint once said "Lord loves us so much that to make sure everybody comes back to him God gives a quality to the soul called Shraddha. Shraddha makes the sould yearn to go back to its source i.e. God."
