I think blue gloves is amateur boxer because of how well he controls the pace seems to be fighting experience and red gloves is self taught

as someone who does shuhari, self learning is not really effective, but can have some reallllly cool stuff and innovative ideas. saw that when the red gloves was fighting. th way he dodges is nice.

You can easily tell who's self taught in the first three seconds lol. A coach is important kid

I feel like if you really understand it and do your research and practice repeatedly u can learn at home but sparring and a coach would make it faster and easier for sure

@@TheSeedsAndStems sorta, but self-taught boxers usually don't notice their mistakes. So it's important to have coaches to point it out, also needs proper sparring agsint other experienced boxers in order to test out what you've learned and condition yourself to become more calmer and calculating in a fight. Because in reality, no matter what combat sport you train, fighting is more complex than it seems. It took years and years of human constant testing and evolution to develop how we fight today

@ yea I get that but all a coach is somebody who has a lot of knowledge on the spot and myself I’ve watched boxing since a young age and my dad boxed so it always been something in my life never been a gym but I can spot my mistakes

He's a little stiff with his upper body, it's like solidly connected to his hips, has no looseness, need to learn to have loose body movements that kinda do their own thing but work together keeping balanced, a good boxer will be able to be balanced and positioned to throw/block/evade punches as much as possible no matter what the other guy is doing, hip isnt supposed to be connected to upper body, it's supposed to be more like a counter balancer, so your upper body can search/ move freely, if i was to teach him to learn 1 thing, it would be that

The red one is self taught. He doesn’t have good footwork and doesn’t know how to throw jabs or hooks correctly. Blue guy has decent footwork and landing the most blows.
