This just ended my chronic lower back pain that I've had for over ten years. I have been to doctors and taken xrays, chiropractors, yoga, massages, foam rollers, core conditioning classes, heat pads, medications, back extensions, stretches you name it I have tried it. None of it worked, some made it worse. Last night I sat like a crab on a baseball and rolled around. It was tender at first but in a good way. I found the sore spots and just kept working them. I could feel my lower back loosening up, and the pressure being release. It felt absolutely amazing. I did it again this morning and my back has never felt this good! I am still basically in shock, my life has been changed because of this video. Thank you so much.

I too had a strange pain in my back after hurting it weight lifting over 10 years ago. I mostly recovered except this strange sharp pain in my gluteus medius. I thought I was going to be an old man not being able to do anything in 20 years, but turns out my back is completely healthy, it was just some strange condition with the muscle. Putting insane amounts of pressure on it like in this exercise, for some reason cures it instantly. Thank you Kai Wheeler.

Hey Kai I have been suffering from hip pain and sciatica for months. Have been to several healthcare professionals but never recovered. I tried the myofascial release shown by you and first time in months I slept for 8 hours straight. I usually wake up with aches and pains throughout the night. Thanks a lot. I'm going to carry on with this routine and the strengthening exercises shown by you.

Extremely good vids. I bet over half the people in pain could be helped with myofascial release. But my doctors never talked about it. My PTs never talked about it. I had to come to KZbin to help myself after YEARS of pain. (I wonder how many people hooked on pills started out simply needing this, but didn't get the help their body needed from their doctor, so they took pain meds instead)

Not 1 of my surgeons, physical therapists, chiropractors, movement spec , well you get it, I’ve seen’em all ....but NONE mentioned anything regarding facia issues. Just 1 time doing this for 3 minutes was a TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!!!! Amazing .. Obviously I spend a lot longer than 3 mins on these now lol.. Thank you just doesn’t say enough... Yeah Kai your education shows, Ive done these techniques, and I feel an instant relief already. I have an aluminum roller (with rubber coating) IT KILLS ME,(Especially my IT band) but does very little for my sciatica/piriformis (Until I watched your stretch video) I do heavy weight Deadlifting, and Squatting, 46 yrs old and my sciatica,& piriformis attacks me everytime, halting my workout. Now I will perform the stretches you displayed, and hopefully I can complete my sets without painful interruption, thanks.

Holy shiznit. It works!!! I messed up my lower back when I was doing barbell squats..I guess I bent differently than I usually do - blaming it on my sprained ankle. But anyway, I was in pain especially when i sit down and I have been going through youtube for help. I tried several videos but none worked. Then I tried yours and whoa! IT WORKED AFTER DOING 10 MINUTES ON THE LEFT AND 10 MINUTES ON THE RIGHT!! I need to remember this the next time I mess up my back. Thanks again!!

Thank you so, so much!! After 9 weeks of PT, I still had to spend all of my waking hours standing up, as sitting down was impossible, let alone pursuing the sports activities I normally do. The first day I watched this video, I probably did the release and stretches 8 or so times throughout the day. By the 3rd day, I could actually sit down for 15 minutes, a huge accomplishment after several months of standing all day long. Within a few weeks and now several months later, I do this release and others you have posted, when I start to feel any tightness creeping in.

Well, it sure helps when someone explains the exercise clearly and thoroughly. I have been doing similar exercise sort of Willy nilly with mixed results. Your way gave immediate relief. The fact that you said go back and forth from right to left and not just roll around shows you know whereofYou speak. You also advise to just stay on the trigger point. Thank you so much. Love you channel.

Thank you Ms. Kai! I have a home office, with a chair that was a little "lopsided". I knew it was, but didn't realize I could strain the muscle on my left side, and every time I walked, it hurt so much, right under my left hip... Tried your technique... Kai, thank you! I've had six months of mysterious sacroiliac-area pain on the left side. My MD did x-ray & exam and said, "Probably just a strain." Despite trying PT and all sorts of exercises and stretches, nothing was really helping. (SI belt, however, helped somewhat.) But discovering your video and rolling on the tennis ball as you instruct is finally solving the problem! Addressing the glut muscle knots and getting them to release is already significantly diminishing the pain and stiffness. Can't thank you enough!

Strengthening exercises, climbing stairs, and walking in park seem to help the most. M Lo, where are you located?
