Wow! this product seems really cool! I garden on a balcony about 12ft by 4ft. I grow stuff in 20-30 gallon grow bags and 5 gallon buckets, they dry out soo quickly since I live in the tropics. Something like this would be so useful. Thank you showing this!

Sounds like just what I need for my deck gardening....carrying water every day, sometimes twice a day, is taking its toll on this 77 year old woman! Brian always seems to have just the video I need to see at the right time. He is down to earth and truthful, doesn't try to hype everything into something it isn't. I am in FL AND WATERING IS MY GREATEST CHALLENGE. I grow over 65% of my garden in containers. The heat, humidity, and afternoon storms make watering an obstacle at every turn. This is amazing and would be such a blessing in my garden. Loved this so much

I’ve used an earth box style container garden set up for last 3 years and THIS product looks hands down better. Love the float valve and hose hookup. Way easier than pouring water down a small hole! Bravo for figuring this system out!

I don't think the tiny over flow hole will keep up with the torrential rains we sometimes get. The EarthBoxes have much bigger overflow drains.

So love this set up! This will be my second year container gardening but getting more into it this year than last year. I worry so much about underwatering or over watering and this is the idea system to resolve that. I had looked into drip system setup but look as if it could be a little tedious and maybe for me a little challenging to get set up. This is the first self-watering container I've seen that actually looks like it would work. So many don't have fully-enclosed reservoirs, which in my area leads to mosquitos. Thank you for sharing this!

I love this idea!! I’m starting a garden this year with a green house, outdoor garden and a cut up pvc culvert with trellises between the culverts (to grow peas, cucumbers and luffa) . This kind of growing system would be an awesome addition to have around my pond!! Thank you for all your videos! This is an awesome way to make container watering easier. I was all set to buy $200 worth of supplies including all the little parts that go with a drip line system for my planting this season. The timer, regulator, backflow preventor, on/off valves and the list goes on and on. It couldn't be more simple than to hook the FarmDaddy containers together and attach a hose. Absolutely fool proof!

This is a great idea. Perfect for folks who want to garden, but also go on vacation during the summer. I always feel weird about the long detailed instructions I leave house sitters. With this, all I’d have to do is ask them to check to make sure everything was hooked up properly and not leaking. Thank you for sharing!

Inconsistent watering is the bane of my existence. In the deep south, it's not only very hot, it's also very humid. There are days I think my plants have to be thirsty, only to find the soil pretty moist. Two days and a rain shower later, I feel sure they need no watering, only to find they are bone dry. These containers look like they'd help solve that issue for folks like me. Awesome idea, would love to try it.

This looks like the perfect set up for my summer time schedule. We travel back & forth from Nebraska to Colorado every 2 weeks from May to September. A self watering system would allow my busy daughter to just have to check it instead of standing & watering. I’ve tried to keep my garden small because I don’t want to have her worrying about her garden & mine. I’ve come to love the fresh tomatoes & my “Fooled Ya” jalapeño peppers. Love gardening more all the time.

A simple idea. I wonder why this was not thought of long ago. I recently moved into a condo with a tiny yard. What an adjustment from a one acre yard! Omg, this man and his system! I've been recycling Styrofoam containers that medicine comes in as little raised beds, with a soaker hose that lays across the top. This would be such an upgrade. Thank you for the enlightenment ❤

I have used 12 Earth Boxes for 20 years and am very happy with them. I do have to water each box every day. They don't have the same hose watering system and I would absolutely love to try Farm Daddy. I love how you hook up the hose, leave it on and get to forget it..

My husband and I watched this together. We are an older gardening couple and got excited about no watering, or weeding. Instant mini raised bed that could be added to as needed and takes less dirt then conventional raised beds. Think this will be a great product for all types of gardeners.
