Love it. You look like a Brum cousin of Ray Winston

I was talking to a windscreen fitter who suggested the same stuff they use. I've never seen anyone use it so there must be a reason. I'm probably going to go the same way as you with my Maxxfans.

Maxxfans are awesome the best fans on the market in my humble opinion

Totally agree. Greg Virgoe regretted choosing a different one but came round in the end ;)

Great video, thanks for posting. I hope you are still active with your channel. Is your Crafter an XLWB or LWB? It looks like you managed to get the rear fan a long way back - were the flanges of the inside roof rib in the way, did they need any cutting? What size frame did you make inside? The front fan seemed to use 2x1 battens?

So many questions here goes we are still active with the channel, it's a LWB, I fitted it in between the roof spars in the second to last section, the frame is if memory serves me well 400 x 400 and you are correct I used 2x1 battens doubled up 👍😊 I hope this helps Cheers🍻

@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife very helpful, thanks. I'm going to try a maxxair fan with a 350mm opening at the rear to give a bit more room for the frame.

Hiya @ TheCraftyBlinders Can i just say i have subscribed and i do follow you but i need to point this out as it drives me mad. Your voice is quiet and that makes me turn my volume up. But then the music starts and bursts my ear drums . I do understand it's all a learning thing but just wanted to point it out. If no body says anything you never know. Anyway loving the build fella keep things going.

Hi thank you for your comment regarding the sound quality this has been an issue for me in the past this was partly down to learning and partly lack of confidence I would say I believe we have it sorted now hope your enjoying the series apart from this issue 👍

Im stealing all your ideas from your videos. My van is an ex police riot van, the big square ones like the ambulances. I'm torn between one or two Maxxair fans. Im definitely having one at the front, two bunk sliding windows at the rear bed, and an air con system for my dog. Do you think the one fan at the front is enough, pulling air through the bunk windows at night? Im trying to save space on the roof for solar panels, so I'm torn between the two decisions, what do you think now you've had them a few years?
@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife Жыл бұрын
The two fans complement each other, but it you need roof space, one will work fine with the bunk windows
