Selfish FedEx drivers park in handicap zones!!

On Wednesday, August 30, I ate my lunch at the Taco Bell in Hanceville, Al. When I came out to leave, these two Fedex trucks were parked in the handicapped zones with people sitting inside the trucks. When I pointed out that the drivers shouldn't park there, the driver informed me that if he was only going to be there for a few minutes delivering a battery, he WOULD park there.
Alabama law says you won't. It's illegal to park in handicapped zones without a placard displayed, and plus it's a selfish, arrogant a**hat thing to do. There were other patrons taking pictures of this is well. I hope they wore Fedex out about what their contract carriers did.

I'm disabled have a very hard time walking, i won't even park in the handicap spots unless it's absolutely a necessity. If i can i try to park in a regular spot to leave the handicap spot open in case someone worse off then me really needs it. And it burns my azz when i see people that do dumb shitt like we see in this video.

I would call the local police department and ask them to come out and ticket these vehicles and tow them away to an impound yard. When FedEx gets the total bill this practice will stop dead in its tracks.

I use to think fedex was reliable and reputable. I haven’t seen a fedex delivery in our area in months since most online businesses I do with online orders use mostly ups or usps. I ordered a set of plug wires on a Monday for my 46 mercury from a supplier not more than 200 miles away using fedex the shipping cost seemed outrageously high compared to others and it took a week for delivery. Not only that, they delivered my order two addresses way from where I live.

They have had a difficult job dealing with the heat this year. If nobody is parked there, and they are just dropping a package, I dont have a problem with it. Even a handicap knows that a FedEx truck will only take the spot for minuttes. So, they will wait for him or her to return to the truck. They will still get the spot.

@Tat2Dragons I agree that they should not do that on a regular basis, but this summer has been hot and brutal. Cut them some slack when they are caught on ring doorbells having heat related illness.
