He doesn't rly "respawn" in the in-lore meaning, he gets replaced all the time. Maybe later they just don't give a fuck anymore because you did what they wanted you to do already

She is for the most part very absent from the game. 1:16 Sad. At least this hug doesn't give you a 5% health debuff *looks at Fia* 1:19 This place is where Radahn and Malenia had their fight. It's the place where Malenia showed herself as a sore loser and made her kamikaze move that nuked all of Caelid and turned it into this nightmare. Be aware, this swamp gives a Rot status effect that when full will rather quickly start killing you. Get some consumables for it or learn Flame Cleanse Me spell. 1:23 This is Commander O'Neil. Don't worry, not as bad as Njall from Mountains. He drops the Needle you need for a quest. 1:32 And this is the person you need to get this Needle for. Her name is Millicent and her adoptive dad Gowry wants you to give her the Needle so she can keep on moving with her quest to find Malenia. She is a sad, sad character which you will learn as you progress through her quest which I must add is rather nice and gives you a way out of certain bad situation. More on that later. And as you can see she lacks an arm. Give her a hand now will you. 1:34 A needle works too. 1:37 She will appear somewhere else now. She also can help out with certain bosses. Also voice crack.

Elden Ring is the best platformer of the souls series. I mean, it has a proper Jump button. Now you can't dual-wield with Y any more, but at least you can jump without realigning the camera all the time (L3)...

There are a lot of hidden interactions with her. She comments on Bocs love for his mother at some point in that questline and also tries to convince you not to take the frenzied flame as well as always showing up in churches of Marika to convey Marikas words to you. It's not much, she's not always blabbering, but she does ocasionally drop in. I do hope she will comment on the DLC as well, as that would be very welcome.

I've got teleported next to this town when I was like lvl 10. Took me like a whole day to get out of the mine, then I spent 2 more days suffering in this city, until I realized that there is fast travel and I can finally go back. The training I got here during that time resulted in me finishing most(all but ca 5) bosses in max 2 tries - even like Malenia, the fire giant, ect. - with sword main build.
