Decent video. I'd love to see you test this, and other budget jhp using the FBI standard for penetration, and accuracy testing from a bench to remove as much human factor as possible when determining group sizes. Keep up the good work.

This isn't "budget" ammo: it's match grade accurate, slightly over pressured, consistent expansion, non corrosive primer, very clean powder, and no "hype" gimmicky features designed to get you to think the bullets have magic powers.

Thanks for doing this man, I've been looking for testing on this load for the last year and a half or so. It functions well in my G19s and is only 12 or 13 bucks a 50box at J&G, which is local to me. I expected jacket separation because it isn't bonded, but the expansion is pretty good.

Lugh Lamhfada It did really well without barriers, I did some more testing with barriers including heavy clothing and it didn’t do that well but I like the ammo and it’s accurate and shoots clean.

Awesome test bud. Will be interesting to see if more realistic penetration and expansion test can be done. Where I am from this is widely available and only type that is available. Keep up the videos🤙🏻🤙🏻. Everyone uses the exotic expensive ammo and there is enough information about them and KZbin vids. Not allot of information on these type of “budget” ammo. Those sellier and bellot are loaded quite hot (CIP Specs)and very clean shooting, the brass is excellent for reloading. Quality ammo in my humble opinion.

these are pretty good for anything. mostly used as range ammo as hollow point would be better for home defense but i have a clip of hollow point and snb in the safe for home protection. also a .410 heavy quail 6 shot are pretty brutal close range.

This is not testing, this is having fun shooting at jugs filled with water. Any hollow point will expand in water, however expanding after penetrating clothing and ballistic gel for instance is entirely different.

Thanks for watching and your feedback, I use water for the first test because it’s a best case scenario for the bullet to perform as designed. After this I did perform a heavy clothing and barrier test and this bullet did not perform well at all so I didn’t post the video and moved on to other brands of ammunition.

@@Glockforme hey thats good that you do that, I only wish that you would post the video of the bullets not performing with a heavy clothing test because I was looking at buying this ammo because I found it kind of cheap and this video makes it out like it works really well. I think the follow up is needed if anything just to keep us poors informed so we don't make a bad choice in carry ammo. Thanks for the response back. Cheers.

@@Glockforme Will your shooting out of a compact 4-in barrel If you try shooting it out of 5 or 5 1/2-in barrel I bet you get a good expansion even through clothes!

I have seen many cheap hollow points not expand in water, especially in .380 auto and .38 special.
