That is true but also you gotta keep in mind that it's not exactly easy to process, store and be able to afford this kinda stuff. I am sure there would have been others that would have bought it all. But the group is probably very small and I doubt many would semi blindly pay as much as chase & co did.

@@buschleaguers75 Respectfully, Ron is not exactly young anymore. Finding the right people for everything is a lot of work. I am not saying that he didn't like Chase or didn't want to give him a good deal but I am saying that the price they paid is not all there is too it. There is going to be atleast double the purchase amount in labour costs, not to mention the years of time it would take years to finish all this.

Cool video! I used to work at a Hobby Shop here in San Francisco. We specialized in vintage Lionel. I'm sure people have told you to look for the 6464 boxcars, some can be quite expensive. Plus, on the vintage stuff, look for price stickers from Madison Hardware, a famous shop that was in New York, some collectors will pay an added premium for the stickered item. Oh, and don't overlook the Marklin stuff, some of it can fetch a nice price, as well.

it's amazing how easy it is to find collector's information nowadays. I'm a long term magic player and I remember back in the 90s when you couldn't just look up a card price online. There was a monthly magazine that had the prices and that was it.

Chase, if that was my inventory, I'd put some of it up on eBay auction a 10 day auction and I would start my auctions on Thursdays all between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm Start the bid at a price you can live with if it sells for that starting bid, but yet low enough to entice buyers who want your item to bid on it and hopefully you'll get 2 or 3 or more buyers who really want the item or items and they start a bidding war and than Chase smiles all the way to the bank! You have an awesome find there, A Resellers Dream Deal Congratulations I do believe you'll do quite well between this Hobby Store and then the Video Store Purchase Both Awesome Buys. You'll be able to retire after these two deals!

just made a snapchat of hitting the 1000 like on the video.. keep up the good work boys!! -- I have to say.. for train collectors.. do not open up the boxes and be very careful with the box! I know a gentleman that has sold over 3M worth of that and that train trend is dying.... just saying.. be careful with that.. push that train stuff NOW!!! -- Ill let you know my back round with the guy... My Dad and I do Fiber location work.. this gentleman that I am talking about use to do it back in the day.. my dad hired him about 12 years ago to help us find splice points.. but he was retired prior about 10 years because of selling train sets.. he was a big distribution in the upper MidWest.. if not .. THE biggest. --- that was how long ago.. and people that grew up with this stuff are passing away into the next life... so DO NOT WAIT! .. hope this helped. Peace and love
