When I was 13 I had to spend the summer with my grandparents because me and my sister weren't getting along, and they lived in like, stereotypical old-folk retirement community, where everyone was either 60+, or one of their teenage grandchildren, and like nothing in between. So I was chilling on the swingset, because what the fuck else was I gonna do, and some kids that were a few years older than me come by. A quick note, I was not really taking care of myself very much at this point, so I looked kinda like a slob, however, this was still the period of time when people thought "Slob = stoner." So these 16-17 year olds come by, high as fuck, we start chatting. At this point the hardest drug I've taken was the caffeine in a can of pepsi and literally nothing else. I BS my way through that conversation, they were probably too stoned to realize I had no idea what anyone was talking about. One of them is just like "Yo we got some tabs, wanna trip?" And after spending a solid half second pondering my options just said "Yeah, why not, I have nothing else to do." And that's how at age 13, LSD became my first ever drug.
