Went to a store sale on Friday.Some of them made over £150 !! Yes store lambs.😬 Loads of them made £125-140. Managed to get 50 at £107 . It do be crazy.

Any chance of showing how your yards are arranged and how the flow works ? Maybe a drone vid showing how they flow? I'm looking to build some in timber like yours as i have the trees and a sawmill .Any tips appreciated , Lastly have you looked at the pro way handlers, I'm not as strong agile as you and getting in with them is hard work for me.Also what did you use before the automation , I'd love it but don't have enough animals to pay for it. thanks col

Do you do the fecal egg counts on group samples or do you test specific sheep?

Depends. Some times a mob sample and sometimes individual.

Four rams for nearly 300 ewes is interesting. Certainly selecting for fertility. How long do you join for and what happens to the ewes that don’t conceive? What special treatment do the ram teams get before going out?

Join for about 40 days. Ewes that are not in lamb the first time will get a second chance to a terminal, just to keep the numbers up. The rams get a multimin drench about a month pre joining with the ewes.

What will you do with the sheep that died? Can it go in the freezer?

How long does it take you to get lambs to 45 kilo

Depends on where they are born and if they are a single or twin. For the best it would be 4 months

That normal here in New Zealand, or we wouldn't have been the best little farming nation, 😊.when you travel around New Zealand you will see but how it's really achieved,
