Kev this Cutlass build will be some awesome content for the channel! I like watching the shop stuff, but you working on your personal stuff, and doing some G-body match ups against Mullet would be really cool to see. Filming some of the shop stuff and talking segments even just on a new iPhone would also be a nice quality bump. Just my .02 but its not my channel keep kicking ass

I film with iPhone and GoPro currently. The iPhone doesn’t seem to be as smooth as the GoPro

The frame with cage seems heavy in the front. If you were thinking of a cart machine, *maybe* run 30 inch of coil spring travel. 😊 Fun vid., thanks.

It was kinda confusing but if I could get my first car back again I would keep it that’s the stuff you’d miss the little things you can “fix” again but remember you did it 20 odd years ago now but 40-50 years ago for what I’m exampling. It’s really cool to tell the story it make it great for what it was then and bring it to what you always wanted!! I love this backstory

Top gun is what the shirt reminds me of. But I could swear I know of a Stroud parachutes shirt that looked like that and had Grumpy's 2nd gen as the race car. PS I'm 53 and still find things I did to my 65 Chevelle when I was 16.

Top gun? Gotta save the Cutlass, i had a triple pee green '79, that i spray painted blue, and dropped a 455 out of a wrecked 70 442! I loved that car, then i bought an '88 fox, and it was over! Lol! I used to hang out at TRZ Motorsports when they were in Alsip, Illinois, i crewed for Chuck Samuel when he was running NMRA Pro 5.0 in the maroon notch, and they did the chassis work.

my First Car Was an 1986 Cutlass Brougham black withred interior and t tops got for 20 bucks wish I never woulda sold even though I made good money body was very clean just had some electrical issues I was 15 when I bought maybe one year ill find another one can't wait for tou to finish yours KEVIN

It was not rust free at all, there were many of my patches from 20 years ago that were OK metal, but the original floor and transmission tunnel was rough!

My first car was also a 1979 Cutlass, came with a 260v8 , going to be used like that for about a year and then did a Cadillac 500/400 tran. conversion. But the conversion kit from one company headers engine mounts oil filter relocation oil pan trans crossmember +++ I must have found the conversion in a Hot rod magazine or something because this was way before social media. I think the engine was rated at 400 horsepower and that thing was a monster. And Kevin I want to throw up every time I watch your video with your Cutlass in it because I got rid of mine 😭😭😭

if you have the old parts and can build the cutlass with existing parts intoo a sellable / drivable car you might be better off "trowing it together" and selling it and use the cash to build a car from the ground up with new / virgin old parts , you might end up with a better / cleaner car for less money another option would be to only take the rearquarters and roof/ front window and leave the firewall frame cage and inner fenders for the buyer
