I've heard good things about Charlotte... looking forward to that vlog. Downtown in big city is definitely a change of scenery...lol in Dallas and Houston downtown is always popping and walking to restaurants and bars is easy... However the traffic especially when events are scheduled, the parking, and the homeless people taking over are definite cons ...there is normally a greater police presence because the main stations are downtown...

Hi! I can speak on Seattle WA and Charlotte NC. Seattle has some good schools... there will be culture shock.:) As for Charlotte... if you are still looking to teach.. I would say anything beyond elementary school look elsewhere unless you plan on going private. My son will be graduating from high school in June and I am happy. The Charlotte school district has went downhill unfortunately. We have a new superintendent every couple of years. Maybe look into Mint Hill or Raleigh :) ... just being honest
