I literally google Dallas, Texas tour and I seen your video. My 23 yr old daughter moving there in October. She doesn't know anyone😟 she graduated from college last yr and went back and decided to go for Ministry and told me God told her to move to Texas. I'm flying with her in 2 weeks down there BC she received a job offer already. As a mother you worry about your children no matter the age😞 I told my husband I probably go back and forth to make sure she's ok for a year.

@@ParisDanielle .....Awww thanks hun. We just got here last night 5/12/2021. We staying at the Wyndham Garden. Beautiful hotel. She going to sign her paperwork for her job and I guess we going to find something to do while we here. We leave Saturday morning. I was just watching part 2 of your apartment tour. Thanks for the information on the apartments. I'm going to see how she going to manager from paying $400 rent to $1500 😳 we are from Michigan. Our rent not that high depending the location. I stay in a 4 bedroom, 2 car garage house and i only pay $850 in suburban Michigan. She is stepping out on faith but I know the Lord will cover her 🙏 plus her parents. My husband swear he's not going to help 🙄but he's just upset she's moving so far alone😞

Did you move yet? I wanna move to Dallas from Alabama (not from AL been here a few years.. leaving here is a ABSOLUTE MUST).. I WENT TO DALLAS IN MAY, JUST TO LOOK AT APTS..AND DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING NICE ENOUGH TO MY LIKING.. AND THE PRICE POINT WAS RIDICULOUS... IDK WHAT I'M GOING TO DO... I REALLY WANT TO LEAVE HERE.. Most likely there's a switched outlet in the bedroom of the 2nd apartment 1 bedroom. Another solution is to get the single bulb and cord set from Ikea and mount it to the ceiling. You could add a lightweight shade that attaches to the bulb, and voila... you have something akin to traditional overhead lighting.

It isone thing to view the apartment but I have learned the hard way you get what you pay for. Meaning under $1000 the apt may be nice and renovated but is the neighborhood bad or unsafe.

I word of advice, which by the way has nothing to do with discrimination. I myself am of mixed race. Be very cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I am currently living near Indian computer engineering students. Ever since they moved in I have been having issues with my Wifi and computer network being hacked. Besides that, they like to save money and so they will fit about 4 people in a one bedroom apartment. Which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally they like having phone conversations outside which usually tends to be in front of other tenants apartments which can cause a disturbance. When they use the laundry room they leave the clothes in the machines over night and do not clean up after themselves once they are done. Additionally, They are not very clean in general. Once a cat must have taken a dump near their front door and they never cleaned it up. This attacted flies in my home. It was a mess.

The further N U go generally safer. Living in Dallas many yrs I hear about plenty of crime but have never cn, any, I'm in Dallas verge of Addison,

I live in Carrollton, which is far north Dallas. I recommend this area, or Addison, Plano, McKinney, and Frisco. Very quiet and family friendly when I am. Other areas in and around Dallas are a hit or miss.

As a Dallas born and raised resident I’d say the further North you go, it’s pretty safe and quiet. Anything around lower Dallas, I can say is not the safest and known as the hood to be honest

Prices vary prob from$700 studio & up 4 1 bed. Not many studios tho.If U had 2 get a studio I'd put a futon/sleeper sofa rather than a bed & 4 seat/dining table, prob round.

Here in Los Angeles studio apartments are now 1800-2000 a month for an apartment like the first one she showed in the video… I’d say 1000 is cheap!
