Beautiful spot there. It will be worth all the work and effort when it is done. I am sure the mayor and town will be happy also. I am glad the mayor is looking out for William in regards to the road. Having that digger is a real bonus for those big jobs. Darn weeds grow so much. My garden is covered in them. Have a great weekend all.

That was all very interesting. I recognized a hazel nut bush growing tight to barn wall as we have those in Alberta. The red squirrels love them. You all were missed.

You’ve had lots of rain in France no wonder ivy, weeds, grass grow at an alarming rate. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end/ holiday and you’ve got to crack on with work. Great work on getting the tree out

It is a field, we used to have houses donkeys and sheep on there, It’s a great size!

I really like the idea of growing the trees myself. However, if the tree removed was a grafted fruit tree, which is often the rule, then the seedlings, as they looked, were more like root shoots from the rootstock and unfortunately not from the grafted tree.

Hi yes I think you are right but I found more saplings !! Also the supermarket sells trees at this time of the year, but he’s not quite ready yet for them 😥🥰
