I found you and fell in love with you guys because i was doing research on the American canal system and of course the system in England came up and there you was. Obviously we don't have the system here anymore like you guys do there and i found more joy and information from this channel and it got me hooked and ive been here now for a long time. Was i bummed when you sold the boat and got this little farm? A little bit yes but i stayed because of you both and i love this videos just as much as the canal videos. Your little chunk of land and the things you have going on is simply amazing. I think the people that left after you got off the canal have missed out on alot. When you announced this new boat, i found myself worried you was leaving the farm and thinking how much id miss it lol. Thank you for sharing all this with us. Have a great weekend fellas.

Hmmmm.... Can't really recall when I started following you guys on KZbin, but I joined you just prior to your building and launching SF. While I really enjoyed watching the canal cruising series, watching your transition to country living, especially in the Highlands, is also quite enjoyable. Interesting items (not a complete list though) - honey production; building up of your apiary; enclosure for Sherlock; your private walks into the woods discussing your mental health; drone shots of the highlands, durning the seasons. I suppose it's all in how folks look at their pastimes. I spent all winter getting my train room together and working on various aspects of my train room. Come spring I moved on to projects outside. This is Vermont and in the winter it's cold. In the spring and summer it's nice to be outside. So winter equals train room. Spring and summer equals something else. And the other thing about trains that I think folks who may think differently is you may spend some time doing stuff and then you reach a point where you kind of step back and just play with it in your head because you got to make a plan and that takes effort and time. I'm anxious and excited to see the boat project. Given the way you fellas approach doing stuff and building stuff I'm sure it's going to be fun for you and fun for me to watch.

I’m thinking a trailerable aluminum fishing trawler with a small cabin. Question will be width. How wide can you trailer and would you go wider than 6’10”, making some canals impassable, should you decide to visit UK canals. Also, what are you trailering with? It's my considered opinion that the two of you have so much love for each other, for your dogs, for the croft, for your hens and Sherlock and the bees and Scotland etc, that you'd never leave them unattended, or change from your plans which are ongoing and making you happy (operations or other ill-health situations notwithstanding* *you can look that word up because I cant explain it!! 😊) Anyway, I feel whatever you choose to do, as long as its within your financial and health conditions, and makes you happy, you'll be successful anything you set your minds at.
