I’m really into cowboy boots right now. Love the quality and craftsmanship. I also bought my boots second hand. My favorite pair is from the Lucchese Classic’s line. The leather is like butter. I also got a pair of Frye boots from the 80’s, Nocona and Boulet.

Good choice! I love the Lucchese ropers as well. Sadly I don't think I am cool enough to pull of a proper pair of cowboy boots on the streets of Berlin.

Hey Mary. The KZbin content for raw denim is quite sporadic and sparse and for women's jeans even rarer sadly. I need to look into some good raw womens jeans.

Awesome Pecos! The best is to look for boots that didnt fit someone else and the are reselling for a good deal as they are not worn in to the foot yet.

i got a pair of used pecos that were without insole, so i recycled a cork insole that was in a pair of birkenstocks pasadenas , just cut a little on the top so they fit inside and they are the best of both worlds, the tank like build of the red wings and the walk on wet sand like of the birkenstocks i use them a lot in winter because they have the red thermal lining

My TCB 50s waist stretched out quite a bit after its first wash (I always was my denim when I get it). After their second wash, took them to a denim alteration service here in Vancouver and am having the waist taken in. Can't wait to get them back. Definitely buying another pair of TCB 50s.

Seriously considering a pair of the 50s. What is your advice on sizing? I checked their site. My flat measurement said I should get a 36. I am usually a 32 in most other jeans. My round measurement says I should get a 34. Im thinking maybe I should get a 33.

You could get a full resole on the boots and get new foot beds.
