Henno3000 After hearing how poorly the guy was shifting, I was like wtf man, get off the limiter. This probably why the mustang almost had a chancd of takimg the porsche in the first race, because numb nuts kept bouncing repeatedly off the limiter.

it's possible he was sitting on the limiter on purpose.. but that's an amazing way to break parts. Finnegan actually drag races, he's familiar with race shifting, but Greg is.. he's not a racer from what he's shown in this video

Finnegan was keeping up pretty good in the third race, considering he was down about 150 HP and didn't have AWD to launch on the unprepped track.

Finnegan is probably more used to drag racing then the guy in the porsche and is also very good at launching a rwd car. Also if the porsche had a double clutch with launch control he would have won by a lot more, and i heard porsche guy hit the red line on like every shift.

Finnegan probably has more practice drag racing, but it's still an unfamiliar, less powerful car with less traction on an unprepped track. He was missing gears the first race, and smoked the tires on the second race. You can say "if it had this, it woulda", but then it's just a speculative bench race. Add the launch control and double clutch gearbox to the Porsche. Add 150 HP and drag radials to the Stang. Put them both on a prepped drag strip. There's still no way to tell which would win because now we're in fantasy land where power and traction is virtually infinite, no one makes mistakes, and laws of physics vaguely apply. We can speculate, possibly make a semi-accurate prediction; but it's still not real.

The police siren on the buggy was a nice touch, as was Finnegan's gesture right before the race. Also, Finnegan's point about cheating was well justified. For being down on just about everything compared to the Porsche, it was keeping up really well, didn't help that he was bouncing that thing off the limiter like no other.
