I have a 2008 SRT8 Magnum which is 1 of only 239 so they don't make many aftermarket parts, especially fenders. I definitely like this look and will be doing it. Thank you.

Awesome. I'm curious why you used bondo on the inner weld instead of flexible seam sealer?

Bondo is firm snd can be precisely sanded and shaped. Harder to do with soft seam sealer. If you dont apply it absolutely perfect it can be a pain to clean up aplication mistakes and it "can" be sanded and shaped, but tough to do sometimes. Bondo is quick and easy.

@@MrArtisticPrecision for sure. I do a lot of caulking for a living so caulk/seam sealer is a go to for me. A tip keep a wet rag with water/solvent depending on your product. Wipe your bead with a clean finger and wipe excess on your rag for those who are curious.

Just wanted to say great job on the fender vents I'm just about to do a charger with a 300 front end but the body lines do not match up so I have to some vent in the fenders. I would like to see the finished magnum.

Honestly, that mesh was some cheap aluminum shit from home depot I think. It is kind of raised up from how they stamp it out so I hammered it all flat and smooth. After the car was painted I sprayed the mesh black so it looked good and kind of dissapears into the opening in the fender. Not super noticable.

cuz fiberglass sucks. always wavy, never fit right, need tons of sanding and bodywork to male straight. and expensive to buy, if you can find them. way more craftsmanship with metal, and you are still using all factory sheet metal that fits nice and only needs a small amount if bodywork to smooth out for paint.

Haters gona hate. Seeing as how I also grinded off the paint on all 4 doors, and the rear lift gate, and shaved all the handles, and it had a custom fiberglass hood that I still needed to bodywork, covering the paint was un necessary because I needed to sand, bodywork, and re paint the entire car anyway once all the metal work was finished. Keep hating though. Someone has to... 👍
