@semaJCh Жыл бұрын
For sure, you make a great point that I struggled with! When preparing my routes, I really enjoyed how gate skip felt easily accessible for someone outside of the speedrunning scene while also creating a deviation from the 100% route, only sensible for a silly challenge like this. XD I totally understand that there is a bit of disconnect here though and I hope it didn't ruin the video for you or anyone else!

I aim to have it done over the next week. ☺ Hope everyone is doing great and, again, thank you so much for taking the time to check out the channel!!! Update: I just finished the gameplay and script for the next video (5/30). There was a bit more than I first anticipated in a few sections, but I think it will make the next video all the more enjoyable. Anyways, my new plan is to have it done sometime between June 4th-11th if all goes well! Thanks again everyone, each supportive comment has made my day and gotten me even more stoked for the future. :D UPDATE 2: OMG the love has been unreal and 500 subs!!! We are halfway to when I can hopefully make updates from the community feature and not the pinned comment. 🤣Anyways, thank you all so so much! That's honestly a great point! I funnily made a joke about it, but didn't even think of it that way for the challenge. I might have to play back through to be certain of this because it has been a while since the last time I played a Link to the past but I think the reason you have to have the latern before you can push the shelf behind the throne seats in the castle is because without it you might be softlocked at worst or forced to backtrack to a point where you could get the latern because I am pretty sure there is a room where the door is locked and you have to light 2 lights to progress so without it you cant get through the area so if I am correct then that means they thought ahead ahead and planned ahead also there is another chest in the castle I think in the cell with Zelda that will have a latern if you dont pick up the latern in your house. Also in Majora mask the Bombers secret code isnt randomized but its decided by the order you find the 5 bomber members so even if there are 120 possible combinations even if you systematically try every possible code all 120 of them none of them would work your first time through none of them would work because at that point the game hasnt decided what that code is or at least that is what I think I am no expert on it so I could be mistaken on this.
