Very interesting. Have you head of aphantasia? It's when you can't form mental images at all. A few years ago, I realized I have that. And that led me to realize that I don't have an episodic memory either. The example you mentioned about remembering a concert, to me that'd be a semantic memory. Basically, all of my memories are semantic but I have no first person recollection of them. And I think it's because I can't form mental images. It's fascinating how the mind works.

i have this issue also ~ it makes sense now when someone asks why do i see the same band in concert every summer + why o can’t recall any of my kids’ or my birthdays at all

I believe episodic memory is the emotional feelings and memories of a time in life. When you flip through photos that's episodic memory right that makes us feel that moment. I need to remember my feelings for past times is there any enhancement stuff that I can buy or alternatively use some natural tips of enhancing the episodic memory? Many thanks
