It's a vicious circle, isn't it. Ive tried taking my mind off things like porn by going to the gym but then start taking accessive amounts of pre workout and caffiene It then stimulates me and send me full circle. Still attracted to my ex wife and aex was the issue in the relationship that pushed me into the porn as an escape rather than cheating. Been on retention 2 weeks and all of a sudden she wants us to be friends I agreed....but then started getting angry because my thoughts pushed to relationship and sex again So I withdrew away from her because I still find her attractive and being around her is like some form of abuse. It's odd because her father is a Christian and commits to it and split with his wife and she's desired to return ever since And that was 20 years ago

Ive recovered from oxycontin, heroin, fentanyl, methadone, and pmo. Not weed yet, but i have cut down from an ounce a week to about an 1/8th. Only way i could of done this is by realizing that life is struggle. The harder you struggle, the better it gets. Drugs were the crutch i used to help me numb the struggle instead of embracing it. Embrace your struggle, embrace your fears. Everything else is up for grabs.

I feel this man. One and half years sober after 11 years of alcoholism. It's normal to feel things you know? Next time your heart gets broken or what have you, you're supposed to feel it, it's actually weird not too. We aren't supposed to cover up all our negative emotions with external things.

I have been on a strong streak with no edging and the psychical symptoms are insane. Aching joints, insomnia, acidity, back pain, low energy, basically feels like I got hit by a truck. But I know this is the only way upwards. I have transcended a lot of lower states but this is the main thing I have left. I see many signs and synchronicities showing me I am on the right path. Everything has a cost, and I spent too much on overindulgence of dopamine, and this feeling reminds me of why it’s so important to get a hold of this. For me to accomplish what I am meant to in this life and to not come back here another life. I feel this is the one thing I need to be very aware of if I want to burn all my karma. Thank you for your videos they really help🙏🙏

I am finally starting to experience morning wood and erections again (at about 60 -70% of what they should be). This is a massive improvement because like i said i literally had no sex drive for 11 months. Is it possible that i am starting to come out of this l9ng flatline? Has anyone experienced a flatline like this and is there anyway that i could speed up recovery? I have had blood tests and there is nothing physically wrong with me. My T levels are very good

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. Is this a framework to work with any addiction in general? I ask because out of all the habits i picked up along the way all but one were easy to deal with. Most waned away with time automatically, some i had to try consciously but it felt natural, no withdrawals, didnt have to force myself. But my nicotine addiction matches very much to the scenarios you discuss here.
@BeyondTheAlchemy Жыл бұрын
any addiction it can be the case. I also experienced that with nicotine. Many others also. Alcohol, marijuana, etc. Its because these things are being used as a kind of medicine to treat some deep underlying mental or psychological imbalance and so when one gives it up then they can become on functional. Will power isnt enough here. We need spiritual power (a shift in consciousness). You can see my other channel transcending shadows for medicinal lifestyle habits. And also this video on tobacco. Its better to use only organic tobacco (mapacho from peru) or leafonly.com in the US. U can google it. And better to chew it thean to smoke it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4jQap-lqNqEg8U

If we exercise consistent then our body gets used to it, otherwise if we quit then there may be needed some re-adaptation again. Dear Yash, 3 years duration : do the withdrawals get better with time ? Or the intensity is same for entire 3 year
@BeyondTheAlchemy2 жыл бұрын
that would be a question that I would ask too..:) I think u know but just want confirmation-- yes, the withdrawals get better over time. They get more subtle. The insomnia and anxiety (or for some tiredness and low energy) can wax and wane for a few years. But this is why many give up because their mind convinces them they cant handle it. this is also why I say one needs to find a greater power (spiritual practice) to help them and make things easier. We have to be willing to do what we know to be right in our heart regardless of how we might temporary feel and we need to choose inner freedom over everything else and let go of these external desires and expectations and feeling like we are wasting our time and we aren’t enjoying life like others do, etc. All of that stuff we need to let go of and understand that we are choosing something much higher than temporary sense satisfaction like most people focus on. Everyone will have to do this work at some point (in some life time)- the question is are we ready to do it now or do we want to keep postponing?
