Belgium is the only danceable song of the 1st half, I don’t believe they are gonna put it first. They are gonna put it in the middle to break the monotony of the songs. I think they are gonna put a slower-midtempo song as an opener, like Romania🇷🇴, Iceland🇮🇸 or Cyprus🇨🇾

My running order is exactly the same for the first four entries, and then deviates a little: I feel like Armenia might be going big on the staging this year, and so it would be sensible for it to appear after the break, wherever that's scheduled. 1. In my opinion, I definitely see either Greece or Iceland finishing the first half of the semi. They're more mid/up tempo songs with a feel good message. Not too complex staging wise so they can spend time setting up the next performance which would have more set. I would be shocked if its not one of those two.

I can see Belgium opening but I think they're going to push them to after the first break to wake people up a bit. Iceland or Cyprus might serve as a better opener. Your close is similar to mine but I think Austria will close, Australia will welcome us back from the final break, and Albania will pad out between Slovenia and Austria.

Cyprus can sing and good stage presence and a very pleasant pop song. Romania good voice, stage actor-type charisma, it will stand out I think. These are my faves from second semi. The other two are nice but not necessarily my cup of tea.

There isn't 16! permutations because the halfs are already drawn. There should be 8!^2 permutations that are possible in SF2, which is over 1.6 billion. For SF1 it is over 200 million (8! * 7!)

Have to say, today I learned that the Dutch guy who did the running orders in 2021 and 2022 is the Head of Contest again this year, so I'm really dreading this, I wasn't a fan of his RO's, particularly last year's final: no way I buy the goal is to make the show as interesting and entertaining as possible when they give us a run of Germany, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Greece and Iceland. (And no offence to those songs, I like some of them, even voted for one, but come on...)

well that second half of the final last year was always going to be tough to organise because there were so few upbeat songs, and then the UK had a massive prop that took ages to set up so he had to put that in a specific spot. He maybe should have used Estonia as a way to break it up, but a song called Hope was such a perfect way to finish
