New breed of driver. Surprised he didn’t blame the tow truck driver for getting stuck. No respect. No manners. Great job TOW TRUCK DRIVER at least your professionalism showed.

Awesome job! I was in the towing industry for 20 years, I’ve been out for 12 yrs. I do miss it a lot and I enjoy watching your recovery videos.

Ha ha ha. I hooked up to one the same way once. The kid decided to call me an idiot in front of his girlfriend. I pointed out I wasn't the one stuck. He didn't like that comment. Then he wanted to try the fight intimidation tactic. Silly boy. So I unhooked and drove away knowing we were the only one big enough for the job. Two hours later I was out on another call and he was still there. Stopped on my way back. The girlfriend left him and I bumped my price up. I think in all the years I drove he was the only meatball I ever came across. Ironically his dad stopped in later and thank me for setting his son straight. I dropped the price back down.

Hi, I liked this video. I live in Kenya and drive a Mercedes Benz 3340, Actros 6x4s articulated semi trailer and ferry around soft drink beverages. I was amazed by your use of remotes to operate your magnificent tow rig. I watched whole video. When you come to Kenya I would like to show you around.. Paul, Nairobi Kenya.

Seeing your truck and outfitting of the truck makes me happy. You are a real pro! Seeing that other guy and his "truck" makes me kind of sad. He has no interest at all in his truck and in what you're doing. He probably still das not have the slightest idea of what went wrong. Just a matter of time and it will happend again. Here in Western Europe it's the same story, we have real truckers, those who have a diploma in transport and live for the job and live for the equipement. And we have the people with just a drivers licence. Leads to dangerous situations.........

Nice rig brother. I drove tankers out in the West Texas oil field and I always hated when we would go help someone that was stuck and they would be on the phone sitting in their truck instead of helping. We used to always have chains on side of our water tankers cause there was always someone stuck in the desert when it rained and got muddy. Even good drivers that I personally know that were driving for many many years would get stuck. It could happen to anyone. I've never seen a rig like yours in person and hope I never have to call one but that's a really nice rig.

Here's a hack that sometimes works on desert sand especially real fine and dusty sand: pour water on the sand and put diferentials on, and then try to roll out. Sometimes the water will turn the sand into like a hard clay almost like concrete.

Another great, high-quality video JR- When you can see how deep the tire tracks are in the sand, that's exceptional quality video- I'm amazed by the drivers that don't know what the locking differential is, or even how to deploy it- Keep 'em coming kiddo, & be safe!!!

Thank you for bringing this video, and others every bit as interesting and informative as this one, to us, I very much enjoyed it! I certainly enjoyed that video. You did make it look easy. I worked for a private tree service at one time and I Renner a time where we were working in the yard off the pavement and everything we had was stuck in the mud. Even the Ford tractor was stuck. I think the boss used his 4×4 ford pickup to get the tractor out and them we were able to grab everything else out of the mud. The ground was a little softer than we anticipated and anyway it was a bitch getting every t thing out. Long time ago.
