When I was working for an old farmer I was in an old transtar and his son was in a t800 we decided to see who could win in a race on the 4 lane both trucks were 8 speeds he had a Cummins I had the Detroit I beet him by a mile at 85 miles an hour we did that stuff all the time just because we were bored and wanted to have some fun we did it at least every week until he left for college

Freightliners rule! Seriously though if they really want to run those ol girls they should restore them and take them to Bonnevile. I'm an owner operator as was my dad. I remember a Pete 352 that he owned back in the day. It had an 8v92ta Detroit 15 speed and 3.55 rears. It took a while to get there but it was a triple digit truck. The flying mile would give them time to get rolling.
