So, what are Poland's immigration laws like, assuming you're coming from a civilized country, and have learned Polish?
@emkro Жыл бұрын
Fun fact: there is no fire selector, you choose between semi and full auto by how far you press the trigger, similar as in Steyr AUG. In Poland these guns are made semi-only for civilian market by limiting the trigger travel, usually by addition of a pin which stops it before it engages full auto fire. In result you can temporarily make a gun full auto again just by inserting piece of folded paper or scrap of wood behind the trigger. Some time ago they were available for ~$100 in Poland. There is also a guy which makes aluminum conversion with optic rail, which is of better quality than 3D printed one.

I'm from Poland and I have one at home. These guns have a bad reputation... completely undeserved. These are largely rumors and legends from the era when Poland was under communist rule, the army was badly trained and for this reason there were accidents with this weapon. But it's a bit of an "urban legend" because it's really hard to find anyone who has witnessed such an accident. It is an accurate and interesting weapon. And, of course, this is first of all submachinegun , so it should only be fired using the buttstock and foregrip. Then it is a really accurate and stable gun.
@lostinspace013 Жыл бұрын

Just bought one. It looked beautiful in the box. Slide cycle felt smooth, magazines fit well. Took it out to shoot it at an outdoor range. 2 rounds no problem, then #3 failed to extract. In fact it turned the case 180 deg and stuck in the slide, bound up on the extractor pawl. 40 years of shooting, never saw that malfunction. Now the positive. I got a call from CJ at Pioneer. We had a good conversation, the result being I will meet with him at the factory and get the problem straightened out. CJ was very professional, and I can tell he cares about his products. For semiauto fire, open bolt honestly sucks. You have a heavy mass slamming forward before the gun even fires, which inherently disrupts your point of aim. Unless you're shooting so much that there's a real risk of cook off, closed bolt is always superior.

Stock has a spot weld and the foregrip has a pin in it that just holds it in places and doesn't let anything engage.

The submachine gun is equipped with a foldable metal stock, extendable to the rear, with a foldable buttplate. There is a foldable front grip at the front. Regards

This gun has the cyberpunk aesthetic down.

Guns like these are more for close reaction situations as in bodyguards or room clearing,shove the gun into the perp`s face and empty the mag.

So it seems the 2023 batch of these are running more reliably than the ones from 2019. The frames are made a bit differently, and they retail for about $400 less

If only there was some sort of ergonomic design feature which could solve this enigmatic conundrum... The world may never know.

"I will be turning this into an SBR with a working stock and front grip" - That sounds like it will address many of the issues with the PM63: a longer stock so the bolt isn't in danger of gouging out your eye and puts the sights at a better distance, a foregrip that isn't a wobble-monster, and a semi-auto trigger instead of a progressive trigger. Can't wait.

I purchased it as well please make another video on what had to be done in order for your stock to actually be functional. Frame of gun heavy altered from original design. Always enjoy the content and look forward to more.

I wish you put your hands on this fellow little brother, the PM-84 Glauberyt, they look so cool.

In that show Umbrella Academy, they had the main bad guy using one of these on full auto without the stock. Spraying and praying the good guys in slow motion.

Comfortable to shoot because it's shaped like a crosman American classic pellet pump pistol haha

Never got the chance to shoot one, but I always had a fascination with this gun. I think there is a place in Reno that will let you shoot full auto versions...might have to make a drive!

I have open bolt PM-63 and its extremely reliable, build quality is excellent. It is only 100 grams heavier than my CZ shadow 2 but it's real SMG with stock. 9x18 with this gun weight is perfect, very controllable to shoot, much better than pm 84 glauberyt, there is no comparison with uzi... My dad had PM-63 in the army, many times he told me it was a very underrated weapon. I've had it for five years, fired about 8,000 rounds and totally agree with my dad's assessment. Weapon sights were designed for conscripts in the age of 18-20, I'm 30 still manages with them, but I mounted a collimator anyway. In this configuration, this weapon is simply amazing and in my opinion can still compete with much newer designs.

I wonder what people say when you show up at competitions. 'Hey, there is this guy who always brings strange guns to the range. What is it this time?" ;)
