Having now finally watched the episode. I'm not really sure if you guys are hoping Pioli to lose or just speculating. For sure any sh*tshow on the pitch will result in a sacking but Pioli's clearly respected by the players. And after a scudetto and 3 UCL qualitifications and semi final last year, we should give him a little more respect. I for one an hoping for the best.

I think we need musah to start to shore up the defense in the midfield. He’s really good at it so..

433 for balance, 4231 for Gung Ho when trailing or against deep blocks. in 433 our main trident will be Leao Giroud and Chuku, Okafor will always play from the bench for the agey Giroud, Pulisic can replace Leao or Chuku or become AMC in in-game formation change, Romero also ready for RW and AMC. In defence pahse, I really wish we can get Koopmeiner for no. 6 but obviously Dominguez is more affordable. Taremi to replace Giroud but I guess it will be wonderful if we can get him for free next summer whilst Giroud contract ends. Caldara is also interesting as he seems to be injured-free now. Simic can also be our next academy brights. All in all cannot wait to watch our first game against Bologna..

We need to sign a cdm like Dominguez irrespective if krunic stays or not bcoz if we want to play 4-3-3 we need a proper cdm and not a makeshift cdm like krunic. Also dominguez available for 10-12 mil which we can pay . P.S - I don't know if musah can play as cdm

the noticeable strategic change from what I can see is for the defensive line to go back 2-4 cm and have the anchor of the midfield or the double pivot be the ones to dictate the attack and have the anchor midfielder use the defence to play one-two passes between them and have long balls be launched that way rather than using the back line to stand in front of the forwards of the opposition. Krunic can do that but this is all predicated on the anchor or the double pivot being quick enough to play those passes. I think Pioli must be able to tell all of this, but in training, the players would have to show this for it to work. So a lot of work or Piloi is thinking something completely different and I cannot tell what sort of change he will use to solve the defensive woes.

Krunic is not amazing, but he has been invaluable for us. I just hope this isn't too much change too quickly, risking the identity our team's built together over the last few years.

i think we should play a 4-2-3-1 with pulisic as a cam or 4-3-3 with pulisic as cam so we utilize all of our great attacking players at once

Problem is Pulisic isn't a CAM. If we play him in the middle, it's gonna take time for him to adjust to the position, if he even can adjust.

Left is definitely his preferred but he’s played the ten 10-12 Times for both Chelsea and usmnt and actually is a far better creator from that postion with the ability to be direct on his right foot off the dribble and have runners on either side of him.

Im definitely expecting a 4-2-3-1 against monza. Why buy Chukwueze and pulisic if you’re not playing them together with pulisic at cam and sammy at rw. The prior games it just felt like he wanted to see if pulisic COULD play RW..and I think the answer against top sides is no

Giving up on cdk isn't the right choice in my opinion. If this was our strategy from the get go wwe woulent have had leao.bennacer.tonali.kessie.... To buy a player, any player is a risk itself, we should've followed through with it. I hope he achieves his true potential.

And rafa better hope Pioli doesn’t leave or Rafa stays healthy bc if pulisic gets a run on the left rafas going to the right.

I'm sorry but the disrespect of Pioli is unreal. Zlatan was immense but hardly played in the scudetto winning year - did he set the team up? Yes Pioli made some bad decisions last season but we all know that we were weak and understaffed at CF, RW, CAM, RB and even CM with benny in and out. The man won us our first scudetto in a decade, can we please stop just trashing him at every chance we get?

Krunić has to leave. With pioli he's not a rotation player he will always be our starting number 6 but he's not good enough for it. Sell him and get someone better for the role
