Maybe he’s also tired of living in England and misses living in Italy. Maybe our project seems more sustainable than a lot of Premier League clubs as well.

Majority of our fans fail to admire or even admit how smart Inter conducted their mercato and build up on that CL final team. They were so hard to beat and adding Thuram, Frattesi, C.Augusto, Arnautovic with outgoing transfers made them stacked on every single position and it's impressive how Inzaghi makes opposition think like they're in control and the counters them with ease. We were up against much better opposition and without Tomori & Bennacer, with no investments in CB or ST we would lose this game 9/10 times with or without Pioli.

I didn’t like Pioli’s post game interview because it proved that he has became so arrogant or out of touch with reality. Unfortunately the team now has no leader like Maldini or Ibra to criticize him or give him advise when it’s needed. The Inter loss is all his fault from the beginning of the game and how he prepared his players mentally to the end when got outsmarted by Inzaghi.

100% agree on defending basics. Defenders showing attackers infield is a big failure. The other thing i see all the time is headed clearances going down and in instead of up and out, drives me insane.

Pioli should have been fired back in February after a string of humiliating results. He also failed to finish 4th but got lucky. Even after improving the squad we may struggle to finish top 4. Our first 3 opponents were garbage.

Inzaghi is obviously a good coach, but in a lot of ways I think credit goes to Conte. Just like when he first went to Juve, he turned Inter into a solid team that believed in themselves, and that carried over into Inzaghi's term, just like it did into Allegri's first stint at Juve. I hate Conte's style, but I'd almost like a year or two of him at Milan just so he could instill some confidence and consistency.

Repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. Pioli repeated the same tactics against Inter 4 games and lost in all and he still repeated the same thing for the 5th game and was expecting a different outcome 🤦🏻

No. He tried the same 5-1 loss gameplay in Cup final and we shredded you 3-0. Then he changed completely in the league. Mirrored our 352 , ultra defensive low block and this is actually the style ( cautiously) to play against us , but Pioli still got it wrong. Anthony actually said this is the tactic to go in UCL and he was right. We simply have you mentally. You shouldnt have held those Hakan and Inzaghi banners. Big mistake. Our italian core is behind our italian coach. And this all for one mentality has spread like a virus inside our team. I want Milano derby to be a decider for a scudetto in April. Now that will be the game of the year.

No Im not . Watch our derby February 2023 , 1-0 loss. You played deep. I think you couldnt pass the half way line before minute 30' . We had 75% possession I think and your statistics were all 0000 in the first halb. Total schoolbus. So he tried something new and you held on well, you only conceded a late goal. This was not like on Saturday.

@@majedtaleb3944 obviously yes, but you were wrong on Pioli doing everything exactly the same. That 1 game he didnt. And you almost got away with it. Inter has experienced players they all fit well, but the downside is that you need constant replacements . Luckily we have the best GM's in Italy. Time will tell how long they are here. Maybe Zhang loses ownership and Cardinale will buy it from Oaktree and then transfers Barella, Bastoni and Lautaro to the other side :)

Much better squad than us i don't think so Pioli can't use that squad to its full potential the squad has talent but Pioli is tactically limited. inter is much better not because they have a better squad than us but because their coach is tactically superior and has improved his style this last months

Milan bought in a lot of players this transfer window. Inter also lost key players and replaced them with cheap options. All their players were linked with Milan when Maldini was in charge, but RedBird under Moncada/Furlani changed everything! So no point in saying that Inter has a better squad. Milan have a better squad too, but if they cannot identify better players it is the management's fault. Above all, yet, Pioli does not know how to integrate or use new players anyway. He'll still continue with Giroud, Krunic, Calabria, Pobega, and non-performers over better players.

Inter has mastered their craft. Pioli came up with the wrong game plan & missing Tomori, Kalulu & Bennacer didn't help. I also believe Internazionale's management deserves a praise. They replace their players with entities that are plug & play into the squad. Even the bench players they have are impact players. Not to mention they sell their star players when contracts run out, not let them go on a free like we let kessie dollaruma and the turk go. Lots of holes in this ship man. God we don't even have a legit striker & Pioli won't play Okafor cause he's in bed with Giroud & cant come up with a better formation🤦‍♂️

@androxavanti All I want is for the squad to move forward not backwards. Maldini built a squad with scraps given to him from our past failed ownerships, and made the team a champions league contender. If the team doesn't surpass or at least meet last seasons expectations¿ Then we can already say the new owners have failed to elevate the team to the next level. That being said the sale of Tonali and the money spent to purchase Pulisic and the rest of the summer signings was gone to waste. Depth means nothing without talent.

I think it'll be 0-3 to Newcastle. Milan doesnt have anywhere near enough intensity to get anything out of this game. The central defense is a huge issue too - Tomori red card is a 50/50 chance.

Anyone wishing for a formation change is nuts, considering how well it worked the previous three games, completely reactionary. Honestly I think it’s come to a stage where our staff and players need to be watching Inter’s games almost as much as ours, identifying the things that they can do consistently and how we can counter it. Limone is a cup manager and so prepares tactics with us particularly in mind, Pioli needs to do the same. He needs to get to understand Inter’s squad and tactics just as much as ours if we hope to have a chance of beating them.

Pioli is really bad in tactics. You can now see that it was individual performers who gave Milan the Scudetto, but all of them were happily sold or let go for free! Big big mistakes!!

Let's not single out Pioli. He gets to take much of the blame but not all of it. For what it's worth, the subs were not bad. He correctly identified Puli as non existent and Chuk doesn't have much to experience in the squad. When the Theo is jogging and being Dumfries' bitch, Leao not tracking back.... Sure, throw a temper tantrum but where the f*** was he lingering on the other side of the pitch? Also I don't think Leao deserves a MoM... he was non existant for most of the game. If I had to, I'd pick Ruben as MoM and "leadership" as flop (includes Pioli, leaders and management)

I don't understand why it's always our newcomers who don't perform against them. Like Thuram and Frattessi can have such an immediate impact while Pulisic, RLC and Reijnders don't. How come it's their washed up players outperform our players in their prime. Players like Acerbi, Mkhitaryan and Darmian who were rejects from their previous teams step up when needed. And I'm sorry to say but with Leao and Giroud we're playing with 9 men. Both of them are useless in pressing. Leao cannot have that laid back attitude of only being decisive when receiving the ball, like there is no defensive output from him especially when players like Lautaro and Thuram and are giving their all even till the end of the game. He cannot always rely on his flare. Giroud is definitely not the starter for big games like these right now. You need a more proactive forward. Theo was exposed so many times like it wasn't even funny. This guy cribs more than he inspires and fights. He is like that player who has built his rep based on his performances on a good day. When will these guys learn to step up when it matters and make that transition to world class.

Ollie : Inter finishing first ( with jinx sprinkled) , still quality italian core, Inzaghi tactically smart , solid 352 system, new additions questionable, but the team is still strong. Milan finishing 4th.( agreeing with the bookies) Pioli still questionable, team needs to gel due to many additions. Anthony. All quotes word on word Milan finishing first. Inter finishing 6th!! They ( Inter) don't have players for that 2striker formations. Sommer can't stop a shot to save his F life. Thuram can't score a goal to save his F life. Inter losing everyone, new players they don't move me. Frattesi. Otherwise known as italian bum. That guy sucks. Anthony before derby. Barella. Dog shit, he's no good. Loftus will make him roll on the ground. Hakan. Brainless. Mikhytaryan. He's whatever, he's average. He's past his prime. Derby match ratings gazzetta: Mikhy 8.5, Hakan 7.5 , Barella 6.5 Reijnders 5 , Ruben 4.5 , Krunic 5.5 Anthony's " views and predictions" will maybe bring more views and clicks to SM, but man will you bring down the arrogance a notch. You are eating the humble pie every time we play eachother. There's a crystal clear difference between clear headed guys like Stef and Ollie vs Anthony. Thats my preferred formation, but it still also doesn’t address the lack of a defensive midfielder. Probably would make us worse defensively than the 4-3-3 until Bennacer comes back and we don’t know if he will be the same

I think if we switch back to 4-2-3-1, Reijnder and Krunic will be our double pivot and RLC will play as CAM because RLC won’t have that much support as Krunic has on defending.
