It's torture watching every week not knowing whether we're going to be brilliant or look like amateurs who've never played together before. I'm so grateful to Pioli, and I'm terrified that we'll get worse before we get better if he leaves, but we can't go on scrapping through every game like we've forgotten how to play. Props to Okafor btw, give him some regular playing time and he'll be a beast.

As a Milan fan who usually watches us make the silly mistakes I was very happy to see pulisic go for that ball regardless if he knew a player was down. Disappointed in pellegrini as someone watching his development and hopefully he can contribute to the azzurri but that was an immature and naive move showing his inexperience. Well done puli for the hustle and hunger. Imagine it was a serious injury how much more threats puli would have got and how much worse it makes pellegrini red look. Players need to let the ref do his job. Play the whistle. End of story!

is it just me or does Lazio treat AC Milan games like it is Derby. I am talking specifically the players and not the fans. I can literally remember many games, even as far back as 2014 where these matches turn into a brawl.

I found the game odd in two ways, in one way the fans and pundits along with the commentators believe Milan bad a bad enough game that Lazio should feel hard done. I think that Lazio rarely got up the pitch enough of times to pin Milan back and have Milan exhausted from winning the game. In my view Pioli is probably trying to get every player to understand the importance of getting a clean sheet over winning the game with 2-3 goals. I can see there is a hesitancy to quicken the tempo except when one player gets into a good position. This to me looks like Pioli is trying to control a game by doing this. If he gets the players to slow down and figure their way to a goal then the opposition will have fewer chances at getting open spaces and get a numerical advantage. On another note, the referee is like a bowl filled with water and a game of football has so many corners and sharp turns that he cannot control the potential of a spill over. If you notice that when the first Lazio player got sent off, he gets surrounded and after all that he is launching yellow cards at any Milan players who contested for the ball in a tackle. I noticed that the Milan players clocked on and started to make themselves look like a fool in every ball they challenged Lazio for and he started pulling that yellow card out like crazy. So he lost control of the game the second he got confronted by the Lazio players, After that he though he might get killed if he doesn't have everyone stop jumping into tackles. It is crazy when you consider the game and hoe it should be played from looking at the temperament of the referee from start to finish.

Pulisic could get a rest, wouldn’t hate that but he’s actually better coming off a game like that when he’s got the confidence to shoot and take players on. Remember he completed 4/6 dribbles. That matches his season high I believe. I see him playing at the ten this game and RLC not playing the whole thing. This way Samuel can get some run and pulisic is gonna be on the left for emopoli game so chuck might get two starts in a row.

Good podcast gents. Lazio should’ve had 6 red cards. 1 from the elbow to Giroud’s head, 1 for Luis Alberto head butt and 1 for Romagnoli grabbing Thiaw by the neck. That’s 3 more red cards that were unpunished. I am surprised VAR didn’t call that out and I’m disgusted that they didn’t act on it. In Serie A the Referees and VAR are disgusting. Lazio gameplan was to play dirty. They know they couldn’t beat us playing football. Against Inter, Di Marco was injured and they didn’t kick the ball out. They kept on playing and scored. Now they are complaining about unsportsmanlike play by Milan? SMDH. Serie A officiating feels scandalous this season. Maignan is Milan’s most overrated player and he is replaceable. Carnescchi is a better goalkeeper and younger. Most underrated player Reinjders. Forza Milan.
