this podcasts for the win against inter is the most awaited videos ever. you dont know how long I've been waiting for this one.... didnt realise this is the gift milan would give me right before i became a father. I cant put this feeling in words.. Even if fonseca loses all games the rest of the season Ill definitely support him... totally opposite to what pioli did in his last two years at milan. ❤🖤❤🖤

Tammy Abraham and Alvaro Morata, besides being excellent footballers themselves, are two players who can lead and lift the team in more ways than one. Morata taking part in defensive duties and getting into a scuffle early on (rightfully so), Abraham advising Leao with his positioning besides being highly passionate - all augur towards positive momentum. And I am liking what Fonseca is doing - not just in the Inter match but even prior. Not playing Pavlovic against Inter and playing Tammy as well were two masterstrokes imo and shows that he is a thinking person and quick to understand / foresee what gives him the best chance to succeed - I wrote on Oli's Twitter that I felt we would win and that milan will put in a super attacking performance, but I was also surprised - probably the first time we've outplayed Inter in a derby comprehensively in a long, long time. Really enjoyed the match, felt relieved and finally some optimism going into the next games. This team can do very well if they are united and help out each other.

🤦🏻‍♂️absolutely maddening to think a game is lost and will be a blowout before the game has even started. Especially a derby or big CL game. Also maddening to get too excited over an early goal. Often teams relax and the other team grows and grows. Anyone can get a fluke early goal. Drives me nuts when fans have zero confidence in their team. Also when they get too unrealistic. Winning the whole comp AJ? After 3 minutes bro? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️long season and competition ahead. One game at a time buddy. Believe !!!!! We have a squad that can have our say on any day if they show up!

The 442 reminds me of France's 4231 during the 2022 WC with Griezmann playing as a 9,5. I like this system and I hope it gives us a good future. Hope this win starts the season.

This team lost its head after drawing the game 1-1 with Liverpool. That is what caused the collapse. The team did not resemble anything we saw in the last game or what we say during the pre-season. The pragmatic approach is what this team needed to do. The Liverpool game overall was AC Milan losing their head which subsequently allowed Liverpool to take charge. I mean credit to Liverpool for getting the win. But this game was all about Milan looking like two different teams after minitue 10.

Emerson’s performance against inter to be fair to him was his best performance so far, even causing a bit of havoc further up the pitch. As a more attacking full back like Theo, it’s hard to judge his defence so hard especially when even Theo who though recently has had massive improvements, still makes massive defensive mistakes. Emerson needs time to adjust in this system but I believe he can be very valuable. The inter goal was good, he got sucked in by lautaro whom even tho I hate is an absolute class player even in bad form. That goal is very hard to fully blame on Emerson.

442 is amazing against a 3 at the back systems. with double up front youre forcing that 3rd wing CB to not bomb up. Both of their guys were limited in doing so and looked shaky whenever they did + its good for buildup in possession when you have a guy like Alvaro. Hope we stick with it and Fonseca studies Hoeness who is balling out with it (442) at stuttgart

Great podcast gents. Fonseca showed exactly why we loss 6 derbies under Pioli. Unlike Pioli, Fonseca didn’t play into Inter’s hands. Inzaghi had Pioli number. You can’t play a high line against Inter and you can’t press them either. They are one of the best counter attacking teams for at least 3-4 seasons now. Fonseca defeated Inter in his first derby and he did it convincingly. The difference has always been coaching tactics. Hopefully, Fonseca will continue with the 442 formation. Get Jonathan David and dump RLC, Jovic and Leao next season. Pulisic can play on the left which is his favorite position. So we only need to add another right winger. Leao has been extremely poor and he doesn’t work for the team. We can be a much better team without his lackadaisical attitude and mentality. We would be a more compact team without him.
