What a wonderful speech! Absolutely moving! How I wish that here in Germany there were friends of Israel among the politicians standing as faithfully with the Jewish people and its eternal capital, as faithful to the truth like Senator Cruz! May God bless the Jewish people, the city of Jerusalem and all its inhabitants as well as all of those who truly love her! Shalom uvrachah from Europe!

Wow! What an emotionally stirring--and yet factually straightforward--celebration of Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel. I've never heard an American politician speak as eloquently and unapologetically about Israel. Senator Cruz, in my less than eloquent words... WOW!

S. 1322 (104th): Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 Library of Congress The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 is a public law of the United States passed by the 104th Congress on October 23, 1995. It was passed for the purposes of initiating and funding the relocation of the Embassy of the United States in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, no later than May 31, 1999, and attempted to withhold 50 percent of the funds appropriated to the State Department specifically for "Acquisition and Maintenance of Buildings Abroad" as allocated in fiscal year 1999 until the United States Embassy in Jerusalem had officially opened. The act also called for Jerusalem to remain an undivided city and for it to be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel. Israel's declared capital is Jerusalem, but this is not internationally recognized, pending final status talks in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The United States has withheld recognition of the city as Israel's capital. The proposed law was adopted by the Senate (93-5), and the House (374-37). Since passage, the law has never been implemented, because of opposition from Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama, who view it as a Congressional infringement on the executive branch's constitutional authority over foreign policy; they have consistently claimed the presidential waiver on national security interests.

Ted is trumps biggest ally in congress. Who do think has been working with Trump/pence & team since Nov.2016? Ted and his office have been working directly everyday with Trump and the administration on regulation reform, tax reform & repealing Ocare. Ted is still the patriot fighting for american's and trying to make republicans keep campaign promises.
@professorjams7 жыл бұрын
P. O.....I understand your loyalty to Ted. I too was a contributing, supporter. Ted betrayed republicans, and trump at the convention when solidarity was of the utmost importance. Since then, his desire to remain a prospect in 2020 have tied his tongue when his keen mind ,and words would calm the waters. We all know that the current Russia scandal is bullshit, as cowards like McCain peel off to hurt trump....I see no leaders in office speaking out to squash the descent within the party. It's shameful. Ted may not be alone, but I expect more then behind the scenes horse trading. I expect to see a leader, smartly injecting himself in aid of the POTUS.
@patriciaoneil90927 жыл бұрын
Ted has been fighting these exact same people for 5 yrs., mostly by himself. Ted has a direct line to trump & pence, and is coordinating with them on all fronts to get things done. The election is long over and Ted is working his butt off to do that. Trump is the one who can squash this by staying on message and use twitter to push his agenda.
@professorjams7 жыл бұрын
P.o. I am always watching, and I don't see the Trump Patriot you speak of. What public support has he given President Trump with the current Phony Russian story? Ted was caressing his allegiance with the freedom caucus during the first call to repeal. Rand Paul as well. Being a player on the big stage requires Ted to full throatedly support his President. That's what will pay off for Senator Cruz, not hiding out in Texas. You saw him betray the candidate running against Clinton, and you have no second thoughts? Think!

Ted Cruz should should have his proxy on SNL because he is a funny looking man that loves folly. As for the embassy move,, the white racist Euro-Amero "Fake Jews" and that includes Netanyahu, they do no want an embassy move," those in the know". To move the embassy to Jerusalem would be a demographic nightmare. Property/land for over 100 embassies in and around Jerusalem with ethnicities other than Euro whites. In D.C. we have close to 100 embassies here and the employees of the embassies and the respective citizens of those embassies,, yes living in the DMV. Racist Israel/Jerusalem couldn't handled that many people of color in Jerusalem. Saturday Night Live,,,, Ted Cruz is coming, he's such a funny guy.
@ExtraPencil27 жыл бұрын
Living in the DMV? That's an awfully long time to wait for a driver's license. But beyond your laughable errors, you make some serious factual ones. Jerusalem already "handles" people from every part of the world, including Ethiopia, Yemen, Morocco, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, the Sudan... the list is as long as your comment is ill-informed. Yet you toss in a hate-inciting phrase like "white racist Euro-Amer Fake Jews" -- did you get that from the fake news? Because the only funny image in your rant is is the 100 embassies, employees and "citizens of those embassies living in the DMV." March right on to SNL. Please. Just leave Ted Cruz alone.
@chalklite77 жыл бұрын
Ignorance is bliss for you and I am glad that you are not mad. DMV is the abbreviated form District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. We all know the "state" of Israel is a racist, color conscious Apartheid "state". You must be beloved that God sheilds your eyes from this shit. One thing the world as observed is that Israel can't go to long without a war with the Palestinians, so we are in anticipation as Israel postures for a war with an occupied under armed populace. The "state" of Israel is Hitler's vision,,,,,, Satan's reality,,,,, and the worlds curse. Quote from Jesus Christ.
@tzepahzarmi95327 жыл бұрын
Dude you're just wrong. Seriously. I don't know what "color" means to you, but there are a very large number of Africans who live in Israel in general and Jerusalem in particular. There are also every other ethnicity--Arabs, Armenians, all kinds of Asians... You seriously need to visit.
