right! it's really hard to explain things to hardheaded persons, who cannot accept any correction specially if they know it's correct. it's better to be silent and let things prove them wrong. nakakaloka! ang hirap kaya pag-aralan ang procedure in court proceedings, which i know others don't even know even a pinch. i understand them pero sana yung walng alam tumahimik nalng kayo. please! that's the reason why the prosecution gets free lecture every hearing. kaloka! now i know how miriam feels.

Santiago berating Lim for wasting time by not answering directly to the raised question is fine but to humiliate the latter and degrade him by raising questions such as "how many years have you .. maritime law.. etc." so as to compare with the former's tenure and expertise in law, I believe is unbecoming. Being EDUCATED government officials, they should be epitomes of professionalism and should set aside their personal emotions esp. when dealing with sensitive issues such as impeachment.
