Wow, those pendulum hitboxes are surprisingly fair. The hitbox on the boulders is like 100% accurate, it's just goofy that you can walk into one from behind or when it's stationary and get smashed to pieces. As for the elevator, how about the prostration gesture?

it's really cute how the pendulum hitboxes don't just "blink" to the opposite end, but instead quickly slide across the blade's edge

Using the Prostration gesture with the right timing would probably be enough to avoid the hitbox.

I think spheres are just an easy kind of hitbox to program.. "Everything within X units of a specific point" is just quicker to calculate than, say, a rectangle.

Ricard's Rapier heavy attack might duck under the spikes. Be sure to try the one-handed and the two-handed combo.

once I figured out how forgiving those pendulums were sens got a whole lot easier. then I went to play resident evil 4 and get killed instantly for trying to cheese that games pendulum room.
