@@kcatv9556 Yep! My diff wasn't blown, just both seals, ball joints and all the bushings.. Still a chance I get er back in time, warranty is covering all of it.. And I got new skid plates to put on when I get it back, so I'll be all ready to go..

@@kcatv9556 Not sure.. Nothing stood out, I didn't realize it was leaking until I pulled it off the truck when we got home. We were running pretty good over some rocky stuff but no big hits or anything.. I think it's weird that they said it was just the seals because it was both of them.. I thought it was leaking from where the face plate meets the armature plate, and maybe it is, but that might not be apparent until the seals are replaced or the face plate is off... I'm thinking maybe they haven't torn it apart yet.. I'm just happy I don't have to pay for it all...

Hey buddy. You know I've been there done that. And sure it all makes sense on the bench. Just try remember doing all the configuration on the trail is no easy task. You might get it to work for first 5 -10 minutes into a ride. But one of the connections will fall out of range and you need to restart all over again. I'll say this over and over again If you want to be part of a big group then you just have to bite the bullet and go with one of the higher end units that have mesh technology. It's also not fair to the riders that did spend the extra money only to have a cheaper units pulled into the group and create poor audio. At the end of the day we had to make a decision between all our riders. Your either in or your out. Thanks for the video KC, You know I'm always watching.
@kcatv95565 жыл бұрын
Hey! Frankie! It all makes sense on the bench. Hahahahaha!! I hear yeah, the guys that are still using the 20s units if they fall out and have issues reconnecting like you say they’ll just have to buy the new units with the mesh technology. Yep they’re not cheap hopefully they will work out well. It’s funny when only the wife and I had communicators nobody was really interested. We let them borrow our helmets and they seen how convenient it was to communicate. Now everybody wants one. That’s where the problems begin... As you know. Thanks for always watching buddy greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hi, Jason Thanks for the kind words! It makes all the time we spend making these videos worth it when folks say they enjoy them. I would probably sell the 10s set For $150 If you’re interested you can go to my homepage there’s an email address. We can communicate through email. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment!!

@@kcatv9556 that sounds like a pretty good price. I'm a truck driver, I go from stl to kcy every night and it's been kinda slow lately so I'm sure the wife wouldn't be to happy if I spent any extra money at the moment, thank you tho. Keep making the great videos.

Thank you for sharing the video on your communicators. Any chance we could get a update on how well these work and how far apart you can ride before getting disconnected??
@kcatv95564 жыл бұрын
440cubicinch. Hey thanks for checking out another one of our videos! The communicators worked pretty well on our trip to windrock. That was our first time with all six running the same time. As far as how far apart you can get before they disconnect. it really depends on the terrain and straight line of sight you can go a half a mile to a mile as long as you have straight line of sight. but in wooded terrain it’s probably more like a quarter-mile or less. Hope that helps you, thanks again for watching!!

You should have looked at the T-Max. Can do 6 riders talking all at once, works great, and just under $100 per communicator. You can connect your phone, and take a phone call then go back to talk to the group. Been using ours for over 1 year, and we ride in a group of 4 to 5 usually with the T-Max.
@kcatv95565 жыл бұрын
Hi, Greg.. T Max I haven’t heard of that brand before. Sounds like they work pretty good for you all. looks like I’m going to ride the Sena train for now. LOL Thanks for checking out the vid!!

@@kcatv9556 For us that just need to commumicate to each other and not our camera equipment, this is an inexpensive unit that is crystal clear and connects to 6 T-Max units only. I did a ton of research to find them, and they will work to 1000 meters apart (1 km). When I got mine, it was $79.99, I see Amazon.ca (I'm in Canada EH) has them for $199.99. This is just information for people who don't want or can't afford to spend a fortune on communicators. Keep up the good videos.

So how far apart can those be and still be able to hear each other? How well do they work in a heavily wooded area?
@kcatv95564 жыл бұрын
CSW652 .. The range varies quite a bit depending on terrain. In open terrain where you have a good line of sight they do really well to maybe 3/4 of a mile. In Wooded area not so much I would say it’s less than a quarter-mile you can hear one another. Hope that helps you thanks for watching!

Still enjoying the S30's? Wife and I will be getting a pair for our next trip. I was wondering, for our friends that tend to tag along... is there a cheaper option that is suitable? I see that you used the 10's for some of your riders. How has that lasted over time? Have you experimented with any other types / brands? Thanks!
@kcatv95563 жыл бұрын
Hi Randall Yep the 30K’s are still working fine. There have been a couple of firmware updates that we’ve done since we bought them. When you get yours you might want to check see if there’s a software update right out of the box. As far as connecting a less expensive unit, 2 of the guys we ride with use their 20S units. They do connect with one of the 30K units via Bluetooth and work OK. Only thing is you’re limited to only a total of 4 on Bluetooth including the (1) 30K that is connecting the other two Bluetooth units. Hope that helps you out thanks for checking out the video!

Great video I had a question though so I ride ATV's myself so does my wife she is new very unexperienced I have been riding my whole life. I want to get some communicators primarily so she feels safer when we are out in the woods. We ride in Saint Mary's Idaho a lot there is no cell service where we ride how do they work in heavily wooded areas with no cell service? As far as the distance goes my wife and I typically do not travel too far apart from each other so I'm not worried about the long distance part... I just want to make sure that they work decent in areas that are wooded and have no service thanks...
@kcatv95562 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick. They need no cell service to work they connect directly to one another. They work pretty good in the woods I would say the distance apart would be around an 1/8 to a 1/4 of a mile in Wooded areas. When you’re in more of an open area I would say you can get close to a mile apart and still communicate. I think you’ll really like them we couldn’t imagine riding without them now. Hope that helps you out thanks for checking out the video!

Hey KC good video as you know I also use the Sena's. I have a couple of the 20 and 10 S's plus the backpack on the back of my GoPro 3 plus. Anyway I have also suffered with the popcorn popping in my ears for the last 2 years as matter fact it's gotten so bad that my last few videos I haven't even been able to post them because I can't get enough good content that doesn't have all the the popping in them. I assumed it was bad wiring I've changed them, now I was kind of assuming it was maybe a bad backpack and I was actually going to just change that recently but now that you say you've also had that problem and I know you don't run a GoPro backpack for your Sena's. anyway I want to try the 30k and I would like to know how they do for you. we are also going to be in Tennessee riding ATVs ride royal blue. Will be there Saturday June 8th through the 14th would love to meet up and maybe do some riding if our dates happened to coincide.

Hey, Todd.. Looks like we’re going to miss each other by only a week at Tennessee. We will be coming home Monday, June 3, would’ve been fun to meet up and do some riding together though. Yes you are correct we don’t run the go Pro backpack and we had a popping issue like you’re talking about as well. What we noticed is when we had more than two communicators paired that’s when the issue showed up. Last week we went on a short one day ride three of us. The wife and I and Eric went out. Everything worked pretty good, no popping issues. Thanks for watching appreciate the comments as always my friend!!
