Sena Momentum INC - FIRST Ride Review! (Bluetooth Helmet)

0:38 - For everyone commenting "that exhaust is so loud!" I know it's loud, thank Ms. Block for that! Turn down your bass on whatever application you're watching it on, it helps. I've since ridden with this helmet while on my own bike, and there's no exhaust / audio issues. But, in order to *show you guys video of me actually using the helmet,* because I thought that was kind of important, I had to use her bike since the diameter of the bars fit the GoPro bar mount. It was either that, or use a Grom. Pick your poison. Unfortunately, the Low Rider S has larger diameter bars, so I couldn't use my own bike. You *can* hear the important parts of the review though. Turn your bass down, lol. Additionally, I wanted the video to actually show my first thoughts, impressions, *and* reactions. There's no faking a first reaction, so I went ahead and used the footage. If I could re-record my first reactions, I'd have re-filmed the footage here, but then I'd be lying. TL:DR: I know it's a loud exhaust. You can still hear the important parts. Deuces ✌

Really dig the camera on the handle bars. It's nice to get a different perspective, makes it seem more like you're talking to us rather than just the road lol. Keep up the good work. That helmet looks sick by the way.

Nice review as always from you Blockhead! I was going to buy one of the Momentum helmets today, but decided to watch a few reviews first. Thank you for saving me $400! No pin lock on the dark shield and no intermediate locking positions is no go for me. I will wait to see if the correct this stupidity! I have a buddy that says Shoei is working on an integrated helmet such as the Momentum and will be including a “Heads Up Display”. Thanks again Blockhead!

Dat dixxon, video sound quality is fine. Exhaust note is different to what we are used to, but doesnt detract from what your trying to say. Good review blockhead, ride safe 👍🏻

Does the INC make it too quiet in your helmet at idle? Is that a concern for potentially not hearing an emergency vehicle? Hopefully they'll work on some (additional) venting in future models. Looks like a potential future helmet purchase. Deuces ✌️

I have the Momentum Lite, I am loving it. Living in St. Pete myself, you are correct it does get warm in it, but it is not as bad as others that I have tried. Great Vid.

I have no idea how you can give us a direct example of the noise cancelation, but if you get it worked out, take Mrs Blockhead's Sportster out for the test... Before and after. Otherwise, I'm in love with that helmet should it get ventilation and visor lock positions. Louisiana like Florida is way too hot for low air flow.

Although you're Blockhead, is this helmet more for rounder heads? Shoei and HJC are too round for me (hella pressure on my forehead) so I need something slightly more oval. I really want to try the version with the camera when it's released. Almost 70K for you! 🏍️🏍️🏍️

lol, yes even though I'm Blockhead, the helmet is more oval to intermediate oval. An XL in intermediate oval is usually what I wear, and this helmet fits me very well, if that's any insight. Looking forward to the camera version as well, interested to see how it performs!

Thanks for the review... I will wait for their version 2 to fix the heat and visor issues (I am also in the south with Heat issues) and hopefully they put a 4k or at least a 1080p 60fps camera in the center to be the end all do all helmet we all want. Patplays , since no one answered I will try. Check your local laws, but most states allow 15 year olds to operate a MC if it’s below a certain size engine. I would suggest something like the Honda Grom to learn on.
