Very cool but you left out a very easy and personal option. You should really have user id's (like call handles) so we know if we want them to join our mesh. I hope updates will be available for this

All the Sena's are easy to use, the best way to learn how to use them is use them, try all the features, Until I learn all the functions, I make a list of tips and put it in the clear part of my tank bag then I can just glance down and it's a snap, make the Text large so it's easy to read, you don't want to take your eyes off of the road for long lol

I have a battery question. My scenario is six 30k users, but also a couple of SMH10 users paired as well. So for the 30k users who is part of a private mesh, but also paired to a legacy smh10, how long will their battery last compared to another 30k user (not paired; just mesh) or compared to the SMH10? The private mesh and paired connection would be in place for a full day's ride. My understanding is decreased battery life with both processors/radios being used, but I don't know what kind of impact to expect? Will a 30k last all day in this scenario?

Hi, if you are in a private mesh, and you stop for lunch and power down the headsets, will you have to recreate the private mesh when starting back up, or will it remember when powered on? If so, how do you reinitiate and rejoin the private mesh?

Will the 30k main unit work on the existing 20s clamp kit that's already installed on my helmet, or must I use the 30k on the 30k clamp kit only?

how many private mesh's can be running at the same time? say i'm in a group of 200 riders and we want to create 20 small groups of 10, is that possible without interference?

Totally irrelevant for my device. Example: I click 2 times on mesh button = Disables the microphone. Hold for it for 5 seconds = Mesh grouping Is there an updated video on how to do that properly? Or will I straggle with this all the time?

@@Daniel.1761 Yes. Just connect it to a computer and do the latest firmware update. They fixed it after a while, but never bothered to answer :)

When holding down the mesh button 5 sec. none of our 8 Sena 30k will say "Creating Mesh, Mesh Created, Private Mode" like in this video (so frustrating) Instead It says ONLY 2 words, "Mesh Grouping" (nothing saying creating group mesh), NO ONE HERE GETS MESSAGE EITHER OR INVITE, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN A MESH" ! Too bad it isn't as easy as you say and ALL Sena 30k use the same procedures and language prompts !! - For creating private mesh which we ALL wanted these appear to be useless, as no one is invited and after awhile it says mesh failed _Unless there is a simple resolve to this, I would stay away and get a Cardo

Hi Brock. This video about creating a private Mesh group on the 30K is for the previous version of Mesh Intercom. With the latest version Mesh Intercom (Mesh 2.0) we made it easier to create a private group without having to send out invites and have people accept invites. To create a private Group Mesh, hold down the Mesh Intercom Button for 5 seconds to hear "Mesh Grouping". A second person that wants to be part of the Group Mesh needs to hold down their Mesh Intercom Button for 5 seconds too. Once the two 30K headsets are connected then you will the voice prompt "Group Mesh". To add more people to the Group Mesh, someone in the current Group Mesh needs to place their 30K into Mesh Grouping mode then the person that wants to be added to the private group needs to place their 30K into Mesh Grouping mode too. This Group Mesh setup can also be accomplished through the Sena 30K Utility App. Thanks.

@@senatechnologies Thanks for the clarification :) I will try what you just said Maybe you should delete and update this video ?, seeing as it no longer applies and will just frustrate users that follow this video, (instead of the manual as i did). Also simplify your manual instructions, after coming from the old Sena systems to connect riders, that would always require just one rider to start the pairing. The 30k manual picture does not simplify that ALL USERS now must hold down the mesh button for 5 secs as you just stated. It seems simple enough now that you explained it and i will try it out soon, Thanks

Hi Dre, Yes the 30K can pair via Bluetooth to communicate with the 20S Evo, and will also attach to the same clamp as the 20S and 20S Evo. -Alyssa

What is the advertised range because the advertised range for the 20S is a lie, let alone reconnecting to other using a Sena 20S. It is hit or miss with the 20S. Is not user friendly when trying to add other Bluetooth communication devices like Cardo. Thought you guys advertised that it would or I would have never bought my current 20S. Need to improve your customer service as well with ALL Sena 20S users. A refund or even swapping out the 20S for a 30K would be more in order of customer service.
