Finally. My friends and I always have to split into two groups we all have the 20S and its great. Though when down town Chicago signal range is shit. And an option to save your frinds so that they automatically pair up when in range would be great

I haven't tested this yet besides just connecting in on my helmet. Things to make this app better: 1. Make a permanent team 2. Automatically join your favorite team 2. Be able to join a team without connected to Sena headset 3. Let phones use the Push to talk feature

I also have not tested thoroughly with others yet, BUT... More things to make this app better: Adjust volume of certain prompts (iOS). These prompt are much too high/distorted: Confirmation of Team name... "[something...] has joined" Press mic button... "Mic on" Pressing megaphone button... "Announcing"

I have looked for the Sena RideConnected app but it is not showing up. Only the Sena app and Sena 30K app

Downloading and testing now! Sounds like the best thing that SENA has released in a long time! But make it more than 4 in a group! It should be at least 10 if it is online based....

The app will NOT show up in my app store because my Huawei phone is not compatible with the app.

Can I swap between bluetooth and Cellular connection just using one of your remotes or the controls on the Sena helmet unit? As far as I can tell I need to do all that using the phone, which is kinda unpractical as I need to stop, take off my gloves, change settings, put my gloves back on, and start driving again. That doesn't sound convenient at all. I also saw your RC1 remote, a mute button for the microphone, thats awesome, know please make mute button for the Sena unit itself, nor just the rider-connected app. A microphone mute toggle button or push-to-talk button is the only feature missing, and is desperately needed. No matter what I do, in some helmets the microphone will stay open all the time, in some helmets if closes, and there is no way to control the voice activation level for the Sena unit. However all this is possible in the Rider-connected app, please bring all these features to the Sena unit itself, hte sound could be ruted through the connected phone if the Sena hardware is not capable of handling those tasks.

Yes. You can use the Bluetooth features on a Sena headset while using the RideConnected App. Using the buttons on the headset or through a Sena remote control, you can switch between controlling the headset or the app which allows you to enable/disable the microphone and speaker and make a team announcement.

Better app if you don't have a Sena product only have Bluetooth speaks in your helmet and a phone? Intercom app, it works with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Bluetooth over cellular data for motorcycle rides. And it works with Android and IOS products and it works BETWEEN Android and IOS which means if you have an android and your friend has an Apple phone you can still connect between the two.

I have not heard the lady in this demo mention, that a cellular call is required. All she mentioned was that a 'LTE or WiFi connection is needed'. Still trying to get the full idea of how this actually works....

The app doesn't work on my Iphone 13. Ask for a nickname and after confirmation can't go on. Always ask the nickname again.

I cannot find the screen at 1:41 "Complete action using" when i press the plus button the text screen comes up

Your phone is already set to use the Messaging app automatically which is why you do not see that screen.

Seeing a good bit of negative feedback on the app. I suspect at this moment that this app supports the 10R but not the older SMH 10R. Confusing naming going from SMH 10R to 10R plus many other models. Anyway if I am correct, much negativity is coming from folks with the SMH 10R trying to use the app which produces an error to upgrade your firmware vs stating "your device is not compatible" please upgrade to a newer sena product. Supported models are identified on the app in blk/wht. But again it is easy to see "10R" and think, great, it will work with my SMH 10R.

The RideConnected App uses roughly 26MB of data per hour if you are talking constantly.
