Do you have a guide or anywhere to get all the details on the P settings? Some of them r obvious but I don’t know which P number is for what. I’d like to adjust some settings. Couldn’t find anything in the owners manual and no videos of anyone changing the P settings for the Mayor.
@WORTHITORNOTАй бұрын
I asked them if the speed can be adjusted and they said no, so I didn't mess with any of it, but 28-30 mph is pretty fast IMO

@@WORTHITORNOTthanks for the reply, today was the first day I was able to take it out with everything added to it, I made a quick little video. I’ll try to figure out more about the p settings. Thanks for the quick reply!

So finally got mine all set up, only got about 8 miles on it ( to cold now) and I haven’t touched the settings. I def would recommend an adjustable stem/or a riser…to me atleast I felt very much like the handlebars were way to low and I was hunched/leaning over to much. I bought their adjustable stem and it allows the handlebars to go more up and closer to you, feels much better. The delay when you press the thumb throttle on default PAS 1 or PAS 2 is by far the longest of any of the 6 e-bikes I’ve owned…I’m talking 3-4 seconds after pressing down to get it to start moving. When I’m in PAS 5 it seems to react quicker but I’ve noticed when in PAS 5, I will be in gear 7 and it’ll jump between gears on the cassette for some reason…..also LOTS of ghost pedaling. I do always adjust the P settings on my bike to make it more to my liking so I’m assuming there’s some settings I can adjust to change some of that……I also bought a Zoom suspension seat post and a Cloud 9 saddle. Once I ride it more and get comfortable and have the settings to my liking, might not be a bad bike but at the point it is now and All the issues I’ve had with it out of box like the brakes, the LCD screen having a scratch, issues with the seatpost getting stuck in the frame and having to use a hot air gun to get it out (reason I bought a zoom post) I definitely would not recommend this bike right out of the box, but time will tell. If anyone is looking for a bike about the same price but MUCH better overall, the mokwheel tor plus is amazing
@WORTHITORNOTАй бұрын
Weird as I had none of those issues, but the longer adjustable stem is a great idea and needed on this bike as I'm 6'6" and would rather sit a bit more upright.
@StonebrakerDoesStuffАй бұрын
@ I’m like 5 ft 8 and felt uncomfortable so I can only imagine being that tall lol. The stem was $40 but I had points I earned for buying the bike from Senada and with using those points it was only 6.99.
@WORTHITORNOTАй бұрын
@ Nice, I’ll have to check their website as $40 seems worth it to me. Was it a quality piece?

29 mph on a bicycle is pretty dang fast. Will you do a long term follow up review of this bike? Sometimes they're great in the beginning but then issues arise later. Maybe a 3-4 month follow up? Thanks

Yes I can do a follow up video in a few months to show if any issues came up.

Why no mention of motor torque? There are hills where I live. Also the fat tyres will greatly reduce range.
@WORTHITORNOT11 ай бұрын
It has 85.03 nM of torque. Range has been fine with these fat tires as it has a nice large capacity battery.

@@WickedGod-l7x Many times I meet friends about 8-10 miles from home so we can ride some very nice paths along the front edge of the Rocky Mtns. From there we ride 10-20 miles. No real easy way to ride my bike to get there. We all have bike racks and meet there. I'm retired, but I do ride my mtn bike to the gym about 2 miles away, 4 days a week. So I don't drive for that.

Just got mine…not a good first impression. Front tire rotor keeps grinding the brake pads, tried watching some KZbin videos about mess ling with the tightness of the caliber etc/ seems to have fixed the rotor grinding on brake pads but now my brakes r jacked up, and one of the brake wires seems to have a slice in it. The 7 speed shifter was bent, and the screw you use to tighten it so it stays in one spot, looks like it’s been beat to hell. I’m just gonna take it to a bike shop and have them fix it….its funny how none of these videos ever have issues with the front rotor grinding against the pads when u spin the tire. Not a good impression and I haven’t even been able to ride the bike

That screen would be way easier to read... if you pulled the soft, dull plastic sheet off it. Lol. 1st thing I noticed, then obsessed over through the video every time it came into view. Nice bike. My Okai EB50 is similar, slightly smaller battery, 750w motor (1000 peak, also cable brakes, made by Tectro, so calipers are probably a bit better. It's a hard tail, with an RST front fork - added a SunTour suspension seatpost. It has a display built into the headstock. So similarly great bike, at $2k full price, I paid half that, brand new, so I'm thrilled!
